Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here several times, but this time our condo was not up to the standards we have come to accept at Silver Dunes. The condo was dirty when we checked in. Old mildewed wash cloth in the shower, sand under the rug when u come in, carpet was disgusting. The furniture was old and dirty and broken. The ac would not go below 70 degrees. The staff was not helpful. They sent maintenance who was clueless and although I stopped in the office to talk to Amber she never got back in touch with me to let me know if they would be discounting anything. Still haven’t heard anything from them. I understand that they only manage the place but there needs to be some kind of standard as to the furnishings and the level of accommodations they offer. The location is awesome and they know that.

Reviewer Comments: We have six kids it's not always easy to find somewhere in my budget to stay. Unit 22 in silver dunes was perfect for us. It doesn't have the best Gulf view, but does have a view, and considering the prices it's better then expected. Silver dunes stretch of beach is one of the best we found while there. And Destin has the nicest beaches I've ever been too Hawaii not included. I would highly recommend this place and will be the first place i check with when we return this summer.

Reviewer Comments: Had quite of difficulties renting this unit. 1st was not able to book it online due to price mismatch, after booking literally week before my vacation the unit was sold and my booking was canceled. Had hard time reaching evolve to see what options they had. Worked out with new owner to rent the same unit with price difference and discount from his management, Evolve called me afterwards and refunded the money and paid the price difference for me. Overall was very difficult to rent this unit. Beach was close but unless you’re renting silver dunes beach chairs and umbrellas you have very limited place to put up your own umbrella, the renting umbrellas was literally sitting on top of each other and you have to duck under those umbrellas in order to go in water. I was trying to put up the umbrella by the water to play with my 10 months grand baby and was told to remove it because I cannot have the umbrella a front of renting umbrellas. Following days the renting umbrellas was put ip literally on the edge of water !!! Very inconvenient if you are not renting their beach services!!The unit was not cleaned properly, there was not welcome package in our unit, had to request twice parking permit and gate code and when brought to office attention the cleaning of unit was told the old management cleaning crew did cleaning before us and the new management cleaning crew will clean after us!!! Very unprofessional and we ended up cleaning the unit ourselves

They have s’mores at night for the kids by the pool and one night there was a little concert. My kids had the time of their lives. My 5 year old said it was the best days of his life!! We will be back every summer!

The units our relatives were updated and nice. Unit 22, not so much. Rust on refrigerator, paint peeling in spots, terrible tv, dingy kitchen sink. I am not above staying in a place that isn't great, but the price was not any less than the updated units.

This made heating up leftovers and making some things for the kids VERY difficult. Kitchen light switch was temperamental and took some manipulating to turn on. Could use some updates. Location was convenient, walk to beach and use of heated pool all great.

This year was no exception. We had a small issue with the disposal and as soon as I reported it it was fixed within an hour. This was on a Weekend. The beach access is also amazing and our kids love it. We missed talking to George but the new crew is great as well.
