This unit was well equipped and great location for our families to gather on the lawn. Mary Lou and Amber in the office were marvelous as always.

Reviewer Comments: Silver Dunes is a great, family friendly complex, no crowds, and right on the beach. We have stayed in many units over our 30 years staying at SD. This particular unit is nice and updated but desperately needs a new mattress in the master bedroom. It not only had the typical body groves but also sank a lot in the middle when you laid down. Everything else was wonderful!

The walk to the beach was nice and mostly grass, so no shoes were needed. The grass courtyard was lively, and children of all ages played in it. The unit was clean, stocked, and well-maintained.

Reviewer Comments: Love Silver Dunes...a grand old lady...took my children here in the 80’s...now my grandchildren for their first beach trip! We had a ground floor condo which was perfect for 3...ages 12 months to almost 5. The great green space, lovely patio and short walk to the best beach were perfect for everyone! My only complaint about my unit were the beds. The mattresses slept like back in the 80’s. I have a massage scheduled! The unit was adequate, somewhat dated but comfortable for 2 ladies and 3 girls! We will be back next fall break.

After a quick call, the tv was replaced the next day. Appreciate the prompt service on getting a replacement. The only improvement opportunity would be the cleanliness of the patio area. Just behind the wall was food and pizza crust thrown on the ground.

Silver Dunes provided the perfect vacation spot for our family. We rented 3 condos in A and my sister rented 3 in D. So our families were across the huge, open green space. It was perfect for our many toddler grandchildren to play together while parents and grandparents could keep a watchful eye. With the pool on one end and the beach on the other, it was easy to enjoy either. The condos are great. They are not “big” spaces but out time was spent outdoors most of the time. We stayed in A104, 105 and 106 and they were all just great. I’ve learned after coming for several years to bring some of my own sharp knives from home, and my girls bring an InstaPot and Crock Pot because we don’t eat out with so littles. The location of Silver Dunes is perfect with every retail store you might need within 1-2 miles. It’s one of the few locations that is not a high rise which would not work for our young grandchildren. So easyTo bring your beach cart and easily transport all your gear to the beach. We LOVE it and will never stay anywhere else!
