Newly Renovated Beach Condo 2 Blocks from Jacksonville Beach!

DISADVANTAGES: 1- parking is under the building and so tight that my truck's antenna hit the ceiling and it was impossible to park in the designated space. 2- no elevator, so we all had to walk up and down three flights of narrow stairs several times a day. 3- there was a lot of construction going on on the street along with crews of construction workers walking around. 4- locks on 3 of the 4 windows would not lock or were broken. 5- condo was advertised as a three bedroom with a queen in bedroom #3 but it was a HARD COUCH... and not even a sofa bed. 6- when trying to make up the sofa to sleep in, linens were stained, appeared to be used previously AND smelled very musty. 7- some towels were soiled and smelled very musty. ADVANTAGES: 1- close to beach... walking distance (3 blocks away). 2- host did respond to my texts. 3- host volunteered to refund the cleaning fee (she found out that the cleaning crew came on the wrong day therefore our place had not been properly cleaned. 4- the host approved and refunded 1/3 of the rental fee upon my request after explaining that 1/3 bedrooms were inaccurately advertised. IF YOU CAN EASILY TRAVERSE UP AND DOWN THREE FLIGHTS OF STEPS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY, IF YOU HAVE A SMALL CAR WITH A SHARP TURNING RADIUS, IF YOU ARE NOT CONCERNED ABOUT NOT HAVING THE SECURITY OF BEING ABLE TO LOCK YOUR WINDOWS, and IF YOU ONLY NEED TWO BEDROOMS... then you may be satisfied with this place due to its proximity to the beach.

Listing was accurate. easy to check in and check out. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. Would stay again.

Host was communicative about checkin process and it was a great location for the beach. 2 bedrooms with 1 bed in each big enough to fit 3 people. One bed as a pull out couch that was in living room, was dirty when we arrived so didn’t use. However, porch was amazing and location was 10/10

The place was centrally located. We had questions on something and the owner answered text immediately.

The building is a bit tired. Grass was overgrown and exterior common areas and stairs need to be painted. Personal belongings of other tenants are piled in the hallways, giving the place a sort of ghetto feel. Be prepared for a two-flight walk up with your luggage. Metal front door is dented. So not great on first impression. Interior is pretty basic but clean and serviceable for a short stay. The bedrooms do not have dressers or drawers to store clothing, so you're only option is to use the closet (if you brought hangers). Otherwise, you'll be living out of your suitcase with very little floor space to contain it. Both bedrooms have a single bedside table and lamp, which is a problem for one of you if you're sharing the bed. Other than that, the place is relatively comfortable. The beds are comfortable and the linens were clean and fresh. The furnishings are very basic, but adequate. The covered patio is quite nice. The toilet paper was almost gone when we arrived and there was only one spare roll--so we had to purchase more. The fridge does not have an icemaker, so you'll be filling and refilling ice trays. There was one glass tumbler and one wine glass. Otherwise the glasses were clouded plastic. All in all, I felt that we could have done better and would not rent this property again.

It was a basic place nothing fancy but worked. We had two couples and we liked having own bathroom in each bedroom. It was not a far walk to the beach.

The perfect place to stay for a fun weekend at Jax beach.

Property manager was very helpful and responsive. Property was clean and comfortable. We loved being so close to the beach and would happily book another stay at this property.

Booked as a last minute trip to Jacksonville Beach. Excellent communication with the owner throughout. Would definitely book again!

Everything was just what we needed. Comfortable beds and no problems. The only drawback was the construction but it did not slow us down. Thank you!

The Newly Renovated Beach Property was a basic quiet weekend getaway Condo close to the beach. The bed was very comfortable and I loved having 2 bathrooms. We also loved being only a block and a half from the beach and we appreciated having a code for the door instead of a key! The parking was covered and was a tight fit for a large vehicle Breanna was very helpful and responded in a timely manner when we had questions. The Condo was a pleasant stay for a long weekend.
