Summary:

Spend the morning in the pool, cross the street for fresh fruit or a casual lunch, then come back to the lanai as the light softens over the water. This oceanfront one-bedroom condo at Kona Riviera Villa sleeps four and gives a small family or couple a comfortable Kailua-Kona base with air conditioning, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Beach equipment rentals and water activities are close when you want to kayak, paddleboard, snorkel, or surf. The marketplace across thestreet makes groceries and an easy meal plan simple, while Kailua-Kona's restaurants and farmers market are a quick outing away. Golfers can bring their clubs for a nearby course, and the shared outdoor pool is ready for the quieter hours between adventures. Come for the coastline, stay for the convenience, and make it the easygoing center of your Big Island days.

The Space:

A bright, welcoming interior gives this one-bedroom condo a comfortable place to land after the beach. The kitchen has upgraded appliances and a breakfast bar, while plush seating and a large TV invite a slower evening in. The bedroom plus a living-room sofa bed sleep up to four. Split air conditioning, a private lanai, and a washer and dryer add the details that make a Kona stay feel easy.

Guest Access:

Guests at Kona Riviera Villa enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool, with beach essentials on hand and the shoreline just steps away. A private entrance and well-lit path make coming and going easy, and the on-site marketplace across the street covers food and shopping needs. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.

The Neighborhood:

Kailua-Kona runs along the sunny west side of the Big Island, where Ali'i Drive follows the water past small beaches, coffee stops, and the historic center of Kailua Village. Browse the farmers market, watch boats come and go at Kailua Pier, or make a beach day of nearby Honl's Beach. South of town, Kahalu'u Beach Park is a favorite for reef snorkeling. It is an easy base for families who want beach time, local food, and a real Kona evening within reach.

Getting Around:

Kona International Airport is about 10 to 15 minutes away, making arrival simple. A rental car is recommended so you can explore the Kona Coast at your own pace. Downtown Kailua-Kona's shops, restaurants, and oceanfront Ali'i Drive are often within walking distance or a short drive, with beaches, snorkeling spots, and grocery stores close by. Parking is generally available on site or nearby, whether street or lot.

Other Things to Note:

This home uses a split air conditioning system for cooling. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.

The property is small and quiet. Right on the ocean great views. Small pool which we used a lot. Across the road from Alii Marketplace where we were able buy lots of fresh fruit and eat at the amazing Taco truck. The unit was great has a/c and lots of amenities. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want something quiet

For a couple this place is perfectly fine, we had 3 of us but my daughter did not mind the pull out bed. Nice view with a small but decent pool. It’s a little dated but so is 90% of anything you find in an old small beach town. We spent one night and had no issues except the dishwasher wouldn’t stop beeping so we turned off the breaker for the time being.

Vacasa arranged this rental at the lat minute when the unit I booked at this complex was not available. I wouldn't have picked this place before having stayed there but it was so comfortable and quiet and clean. It was well stocked and the bed very comfortable with quiet air conditioning. Will definitely return.

I absolutely loved my stay at this rental. The view was breathtaking, the attention to detail was impeccable, and the peaceful atmosphere of the building was exactly what I needed. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Very comfortable unit. The sofa bed was comfortable. The property has a small indoor pool. It’s right by the rocks so we saw a lot of little sea critters in the tidepools and dolphins further away.
