We loved staying at Avalon it’s a home away from Home literally . Friendly staff . Cleanliness above expectations. Just at the beach loved the ease of being able to walk to the watch . Loved that they provided beach chairs and towels with kids toys what else you can ask for . Laundry in the apartment with all the dishes with laundry detergent and dish soap everything one would need away from home kids friendly .

One if two elevators was out of service for half our stay so slow going to get to 7th floor

I cannot say enough good things about my family's stay here. The location was perfect, the unit was clean and spacious, and the staff was super friendly. We loved every minute and would absolutely stay here again whenever we ever return to Clearwater Beach.

Clean room. There were 3 charges on my cc; however, I called and they were able to fix the 2 accidental charges.

Our stay was wonderful! 4 adults and 2 kids with plenty of space for us. Very clean home that had everything we needed. We celebrated the Super Bowl while we were there so having the kitchen was great. The washer and dryer came in good use. Pool area is small but it was perfect for us. We visited before the busy season so there was always room at the pool and my kids enjoyed swimming a few times a day. Plenty of places are in walking distance. The coffee bar was enjoyed. We would most definitely recommend the unit that we stayed in and would stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. There was an issue with the toilet and they came in 5 minutes to fix it. Easily accessible to the town and beach. The building is quiet with lots of families staying there. Beach chairs, beach toys and towels available at the hotel for no extra charge. Our unitwas clean and spacious. We did have to turn off the AC because the AC unit is in the master bedroom closet and when it kicks in, it’s very loud. It didn’t bother my husband but if you are a light sleeper, this might annoy you. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot out so the temp in the unit was comfortable. The unit is well equipped with everything you need if you want to cook a meal. We will definitely come back to the Avalon.

The three bedroom unit we rented was very clean and well maintained. The staff at the condo were very responsive to a couple of minor issues that we had. The location is excellent , a very short walk to the beach and away from the craziest parts of Clearwater, but a short distance to several good restaurants and shopping

The Assistant Manager Karen was awesome! So knowledgeable about the area and willing to help. The facilities were nice and clean, and the area is great. A little farther north of the pier. The view is gorgeous! We will be back!

The hotel staff are always excellent! Anything you need just ask and they will deliver. First time we stayed in a Bay view unit! 3 bed 2 1/2 bath. I felt the unit needed a little updating! Not happy with the master bedroom’s small bathroom with a tub either…. and air conditioning unit also in closet of master bedroom gets very loud when it goes on.

The property, staff, and room were great. Staff were very nice pleasant and helpful. Property staff kept the very clean and tidy.Only issue we had were our neighbors. They were load, and obnoxious at late hours of the night and early morning. They even had a domestic dispute in their room. We spoke with the staff the next morning and the couple did end up checking out. Possible staff could monitor the floors through out the night to assure that this does not happen in the future.Overall stay was pleasant.

This place was just as described! Check in was easy and informative. The staff was all super friendly. The whole facility was clean and accommodating! They provide you with beach chairs, umbrellas and towels, so no need to pack any of that! We loved the spacious rooms, balconies and closeness to the beach and the strip! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing condo on the beach!

Wonderful property. Betty and Karen are excellent and really helped us with our stay. If have 2 suggestion to make this place excellent. Kitchen needs storage containers for leftovers. New knives. The ones there are so dull, they are dangerous. Need an additional large bowl. We love to cook and the kitchen lacks what is needed for that Second suggestion is to have someone help bring chairs and umbrella to the beach. Otherwise a great place. We would love to come stay again but we are in our 70’s and cannot carry that much stuff for the walk to the beach

It was very clean. Everybody was so nice. Everything was convenient. Our only complaint was the Internet. We could barely even watch TV at night it was in and out in and out.

Location was great, away from the busiest part of Clearwater Beach but close enough to walk to restaurants. Staff were great and attentive. Space in the condo was perfect. However the big let down was the air handler that for some reason has been installed in the master bedroom. It would come on every 20 minutes or so to distribute cold air throughout the condo and is so noisy that it’s impossible to have a decent nights sleep. Everything about this place is great but the noise means I couldn’t stay here again.

Spacious rooms and easy access to attractions

Lots of positives. Great location and easy walk to beach and restaurants. They provided chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys. The room was very clean and daily towel hamper can be left out for towel exchange. The dryer does require and little patience. It is a condenser dryer and requires emptying every 20 mins especially if you dont extra spin the washer. The A/C is loud in the Master and could use better insulated doors to decrease sound but most days we were too tired to be too bothered.They held a Wal-mart order for me once and brought one upstair for me one morning. Too bad the 5 kids spent only one day on the beach and 4 days at the Busch Gardens Parks. They are about an hour drive away.

The apartment was spacious and clean and lovely! The check-in was easy and we met our new friend, Betty, who made our entire stay wonderful. Very close to the beach (steps away) and the pool was very nice too!

It is listed as a three bedroom the one bedroom has no windows.They should consider adding a fan in that room there is very little air movement.

Had an amazing time and such great service by the staff. Always had access to beach chairs and umbrellas. The towels were always fresh for the pool and the beach. Excellent location!

The unit was very clean, staff was very nice and location was great. The only thing that we wish was different was whenever the AC kicked on, it made a super loud noise and it was in a closet next to the master bed in the bedroom.

Very friendly staff and spacious condo for our family. Everyone was always very pleasant to us and walkable to many restaurants and beach. The pool was nice although a little small if multiple groups were there. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Clean rooms, great staff, steps from the beach!

Ok the staff is super friendly. But the rooms’ hvac system is in the primary bedroom in a closet. The noise of it running never ends. The hotel has chairs and umbrellas but you must lug them down to the beach yourself. The location was great. It's Close to restaurants and bars.

Everything about this location was perfect, walked right out to the beach, lovely pool, and amazing room.

Great hotel / condos however haul to the beach w chairs and umbrellas did not stay. Had to go pay 25 cash per day to rent chairs and reliable umbrella . Condo unit not knew like listed . All baseboards had peeling paint . Dryer did not work . Staff was great !

Nice place and spacious. Good location. Only complaint is one of the rooms has a sky light window so it will be extremely bright early morning. They should consider some kind of automatic retracting blinds. Def wouldn’t put kids in that room unless you want to wake up early lol.

The staff was friendly…the check in process could have gone a little smoother but it was fine. The location was nice being closer to the beach just wish it was closer to the downtown.

The apartment unit was perfect for our family of 5 during our stay in Clearwater Beach. The unit was clean and spacious. The location was close to pier 60 and only a short walk to the beach. The building was not too busy or noisy. We loved that the coffee bar was open 24/7 although there was a Keurig machine in the apartment. The parking garage was easy to access. We were at the top floor (8th) and the elevators were working promptly and perfectly. We also loved that there were small washer and dryer in our apartment so they were very useful. The beds and pillows were nice and comfy. Room towels were provided enough that we didn't need to ask for replacement although the hotel staff would be happy to provide new ones if we would like to. There were a few minor things that we wished can be improved to make the stay absolutely enjoyable: (1) the air conditioner was housed inside the master bedroom and it's pretty loud when running. We appreciated that it's working during our stay but if the little closet that contained the air conditioner could be made sound proof then it would be better to sleep at night. (2) the third bedroom had a skylight and if a removable shade could be put on there then it would be very nice for someone who would like to sleep in without being waked up by the sunlight. (3) In the shared bathroom, the caulking at the bottom of the shower glass got few black spots that could be resealed. Overall, we loved it and we would stay there again next time.

We stayed in a 3 bed 2.5 bath condo to accommodate my family of four, plus my parents. The condo was beautiful and spacious.Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was worried it was too far from the action, but most things we needed were a short walk away. Also, the beach is less crowded than where all the hotels are and doesn't have all those huge tents that block your view of the bay. Pool is small, but fine for little kids. Rooftop bar/pool has beautiful views. Only thing that would have made it better would have been a bay view vs inlet view. Not sure it was specified or clear when I reserved. Also 35 daily fee for parking is too much, IMO. Maybe for additional spaces, but too much for one vehicle.

The Avalon hotel exceeded my expectations. The location was ideal and short walk to shopping and restaurants. Very short walk to beach right behind hotel. Staff was amazing. Beach chairs, towels, beach toys, all available, we left our used bath towels in hamper in hallway and within a very short time they were replaced with clean towels every time. Plenty of available parking in parking garage. The only thing that was an issue was WiFi connection is weak/slow, but we seem to experience that a lot of hotels/condos we travel to. Loved this place and would definitely come back.

The staff is welcoming and friendly and always available to assist you. The property itself is very clean, with all areas well maintained. It’s located by the beach with restaurants and shopping all a walkable distance. They also provide beach chairs and towels to make your time at the beach enjoyable.

We were very happy with the location of The Avalon Club, just past the main strip! We really appreciated the use of beach chairs & umbrellas. Great beach location too. Pool area is great and the view is beautiful! Bartender Sarah was so friendly and my daughter had fun talking with her! Only issue was the loud air conditioner in the master bedroom. We wear earplugs so it wasn’t a problem but if you don’t it’s like a jet plane engine warming up. All the staff work so hard & the whole place is clean.

Everything about our stay was great. Location was close to ocean and all dining and shopping. The unit itself was very clean and staff was amazing. We have never stayed somewhere where every single person on staff was extremely friendly and eager to help.

There’s not one thing we would have wanted to be different about our stay! Location was incredible, staff was very friendly & helpful, property extremely well maintained- so clean! Pool very clean & so warm! And a brand new park & pickleball courts across the street…park was my 6&8 year olds favorite part of the trip ;) would definitely stay here again!

From check in to check out…. Exceeded expectations!

Overall, a very good experience. Good communication with front desk and easy check in. Only significant issue was an extreme lack of water pressure. They did try to fix it and had brief moments of improvement but overall it was hard for the people to take a quality shower in the room. We were on the 8th floor. Other guests were asked said they had no issue. So it was a localized issue.

The building itself is clean. You do have to walk through a part of Mandaly that is somewhat seedy. Our biggest problem was more the attitude of the Asst GM. When we arrived we were told our A/C was broken. They did put us in a different room for one night. There were no assurances it would be fixed but under no circumstances could we stay in our new room. We were told the option was to cancel us if we didn’t stay in the room even if air was not fixed. After flying from Philadelohianot what you want to hear. No alternative options were at the ready and the Asst. GM did not accommodate us with either our resort fee charges or the nightly parking. Her attitude was “too bad” we can just cancel you. First time VRBO user. I know realize you don’t have the same security of a room like a hotel.

My family had a great 5 day stay at the Avalon Club in CWB. The property is ideally located north of the causeway right on the beach (it is a little quieter to the north). The rooms are spacious and were very clean. We had bay views but they were still delightful with the sunrise. The amenities were all we expected with the 5th floor pool and bar area. We did not have perfect weather in mid February, but we had beach days and used the beach equipment made available. Overall, we had a great time and our accommodations were a big reason why

The place is ok, however it’s a bit overpriced. The HVAC unit next to the master bedroom will keep you up all night, and the walls are paper thin, so you hear everything in the other rooms and the hallway. They hit you with additional fees and overcharge you after you leave. When you try to get your money back, they won’t give it. Before arriving, they don’t give you any information, they just say to check in with the front desk. I’ll never stay there again. Good luck!

Beautiful condo. Grounds are maintained very well. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Would absolutely stay here again.

The Avalon Club was a fantastic place to vacation. We were very impressed with the friendliness of staff and cleanliness.

The apartment building was at the edge of the beach front with the sands just about 200 feet or so away. The unit was spacious, clean and well-furnished and looked pleasing. The views from the window of the city and the inner/eastern bay or backwaters were nice. The heated pool on the 5th floor was a great attraction to everybody.The mgmt was generous with the beach towels, umbrella and chairs.The staff were quite nice, helpful and generally responsive. Fernandowho received us the evening we checked in was very friendly and obliging. He was responsive to our complaints regarding various equipment issues. We are giving four stars only because there were too many maintenance issues: Bathroom shower not hot, toilet flush not working, sliding door of another bathroom stuck trapping one of us inside when everyone else was out at the pool and luckily she had the cellphone with her to call us and release her. The clothes washer door was stuck and there was no wa y to open it and we had to call the staff and they had to send the handyman to repair it. Also a 24-hour notice required for cleaning and bed-making was a drag. The free Netflix was nice. However the lack of YouTube via the Roku unit was a handicap.We would highly recommend this to other visitors.We thank the staff and mgmt for our wonderful stay!
