The Space:>
Morning light filters through tall evergreens across the slopes of Whistler Mountain. In the warmer months, nearby hiking and biking trails wind through the alpine, while in cooler seasons the mountain invites days spent on the slopes. After a day of exploring, the warmth of a wood-burning fireplace and the soothing bubbles of a hot tub invite you to unwind as mountain and valley views stretch beyond the windows. Tucked into Taluswood’s peaceful Nordic area, this townhouse offers a calm alpine setting where active days flow naturally into cozy evenings indoors year-round.

Sleeping arrangements

The home sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms and 2.5 baths spread over multiple levels. The top-floor primary bedroom features a king bed, TV, private balcony, and an ensuite bathroom with a deep soaking tub and glass-enclosed shower. On the lower level, two additional bedrooms each include a king-split bed that can be arranged as one king or two twins. These rooms share a full bathroom with a deep soaking tub and separate shower, while a powder room on the main level adds convenience for guests.

Living spaces

Exposed beams and oversized windows create the atmosphere of a classic Whistler mountain retreat. The main living area centers around a wood-burning indoor fireplace, where leather seating offers a comfortable place to relax after time outdoors. Large windows frame mountain and valley views while filling the room with natural light. A TV and Wifi provide entertainment options for quiet evenings inside.

Kitchen & dining

The open-concept kitchen connects seamlessly with the living and dining areas, creating a natural gathering place. The kitchen provides everything needed for preparing meals, while the adjacent dining table comfortably seats eight. A breakfast bar adds additional seating, making it easy to gather for morning coffee before heading out for the day.

Outdoor living

Three decks offer different ways to enjoy the alpine setting. One deck connects to the main living area, while another features a hot tub - an inviting place to relax beneath crisp mountain air after skiing, hiking or biking through the surrounding forest.

Ski access

From the townhouse, intermediate skiers can access the nearby Dave Murray ski trail and the 2010 Olympic downhill run leading toward the Creekside Gondola. Ski access is seasonal and typically available from late December through March depending on snow conditions.

Amenities & practical features

The home includes in-home laundry with a washer and dryer, heating, portable fans, and a smart lock for self check-in. Safety features include a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, and fire extinguisher. Free parking garage on premises makes arrival and departures simple.

Neighborhood

Located in the quiet Nordic neighborhood of Taluswood, the townhouse offers a forested, secluded feel high on the south side of Whistler Mountain. Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are a short drive away, providing convenient access to Whistler’s outdoor recreation while maintaining the peaceful atmosphere of a mountain retreat.

Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.

We rented an entire week at Taluswoods the Heights. Everything was as advertised and as shown in the pictures. The house is perfect for a mountain stay, clean, and with a very well-equipped kitchen. The service and follow-up from Whistler Platinum are exceptional. We skied every day. This location is truly ski-in/ski-out. We will return. Thank you!!!

My husband and I recently stayed in this beautiful home for a week. We were so thrilled with our choice. The location up the mountain in Creekside was exactly what we had hoped for...it was nice to break away from the crowds and hustle in Whistler Village and come home to peace and quite only minutes away. The house was very clean upon our arrival and it had a well stocked kitchen for our meals. We absolutely loved the expansive view from the living room window and decks. Whistler Platinum was great in responding to our questions before and during our stay. We would love to return again.

We had a great summer stay. The views down the valley were spectacular, and the unit immaculate. For cyclists, this unit is 1.3 miles of steep continuous climb above the valley floor and cycleway network. Makes for a cold start in the morning, and a serious workout on the way home. Watch speed bumps at bottom. MTBers can ride in/out using the Creekside gondola and downhill (entry/exit at Fairmont Village, under the Olympic rings). Nice garage for secure car & bike parking. Wouldn't it be great if these places would put a 220v outlet in their garages. Took 3+ days to charge our truck on the 110. There is a 4 pin 220v dryer downstairs - a 50ft welder's cable will reach it. Ours is 3pin.

Great service and communication from Whistler Platinum. Home had everything needed except air conditioning but it was an unseasonably warm week. Would go back!

We selected this location because the views looked nice in the pictures, and we weren’t disappointed! Each of the 3 decks has a great view of the mountains and valley, and not much beats sitting in a hot tub enjoying the beautiful vista. The house itself was a dream come true. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen had more than we needed, the dining room table was big enough for games, it was spotless, and the living room was a comfortable spot to gather. We’ve stayed at VRBO’s worldwide and never had better property managers. Whistler Platinum was in contact with us before, during, and after our stay to ensure our needs were met. They exceeded all expectations, and we have nothing but good to say about them. If this place isn’t at the top of your list, it should be!

The hot tub was incredible, I cant stop thinking about the mountain & valley views - wow! Whistler Platinum provides the best rental experience in Whistler. Starting with a very clean home, comfy robes for all, to the welcome treats, to the incredible customer service (only when you need them), the list goes on and on. I highly recommend booking with Whistler Platinum!

Nice property. No fault of property, the ski-in ski-out access was rough. Suggest creating a map even if hand-drawn to leave in townhouse of the access. Had to ask neighbors. Well-stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Couch was not comfortable for me, maybe because I’m short - okay for rest of family. Enjoyed the hot tub! Great to have an attached garage. Whistler needs more snow and got it after we left. Hope that helps the ski-in/out access.
