Mountain condo on Lake Lure with resort amenities Lake Lure opening May 1, 2026

Plenty of space and amenities. Fall is beautiful here.

I echo other reviews in that the home was beautiful and comfortably accommodated our whole crew of 11. While the lake is drained, we still had a wonderful time and the views are gorgeous. It is not too far from Ingles, to fully stock the fridge and cook at home with all the lovely kitchen amenities available. The resort options were fun (slight note that putt putt is not included) but the pools and fitness centers were great additions. Definitely recommend!

This was our first time visiting Lake Lure! Despite the lake having been drained and closed there was plenty to do in the Rumbling Bald Resort! We enjoyed visiting 2 out of the 3 pools during our stay. A round of mini golf, some ice cream, and dining at 3 of the on site & nearby restaurants. Not to mention the fireworks and other activities that were going on for the 4th of July weekend. The accommodation was great. A beautiful large home with everything you could possibly need. Communication was also prompt and super helpful for questions we had. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful views even while the lake is down. Nice neighborhood and will look to book again.

The location was wonderful!

Wonderful stay! The Lake is gorgeous and the house had everything we needed for a long weekend away. The Binder is very helpful for knowing what is going on.

This large condo is so welcoming and friendly. So was the host! We had everything we needed and more. Loved the nooks for storing cozy blankets!

Very good overall. Except Large Black ants entering front right bedroom & walk-in closet. Trash container at road was limited for our group.

We enjoyed our stay here despite large disparities in the air conditioning/ temperature between floors and bedrooms. Is worth noting that the A/C does not work at all on enclosed porch, and it remained in the 90s so that room was unusable. The dock is not usable, but we waded into the lake from the ladder near another boat slip. Overall was a great location and we loved the ability to use the pool.

The house was nice. On the listing it showed one bedroom had two king beds which is not the case. The beds were comfy. Overall we had a nice time. The only downfall was the upstairs, kitchen and family room was hot. We couldn’t get the AC unit to cool down the enclosed porch, but we didn’t sit out there anyway so we shut it off.

Excellent location with lots of amenities. We had a slight issue with one of the drains but the owner was on top of it and it was resolved the next morning.

We had a great time! We would definitely book this property again.

The condo was perfect because of the lake view and closeness to the Rumbling Bald activites. The older kids were able to walk to the beach, pickleball courts, pool, restaurants etc. The drive is quick if you want to avoid walking the big hill. The condo was very clean and all three families were comfortable. We rented a pontoon at the resort and booked two days of tubing and wake boarding for the kids through Lake Lure Adventure Company. We had a great time staying at the condo and will be back.

Took 10 buddies up to Lake Lure to play golf for Father’s Day. Had a great time and the place was perfect. Resort amenities were awesome!
