Monarch Villa - Luxury Condo, Ocean View, Rooftop Living with fire table/Bbq

The convenience of walking to the beach, downtown and restaurants. We travelled with teens and there was plenty of space and room for the 7 of us. This is 3 levels so there are a lot of stairs, as noted.

There were ants in the condo. They were in the kitchen, the upstairs queen bedroom, upstairs hall bathroom, and all over the casita downstairs. We normally stay in a beachfront hotel in Pismo, but decided to try this so that we could cook some meals rather than eating out for every meal of our trip. We were unable to do that because of the ants all over the kitchen. There were ants in the beds! I notified the company and their response was Thanks for letting us know. That was it. We did not get to enjoy our vacation rental. It was not relaxing. We were constantly wiping up ants. Very disappointed in the customer service of the rental agency.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Monarch Villa. The house was appropriately stocked for all our needs and the fire pit and bbq on the rooftop was a big plus for this rental. The location is ideal for walking, shopping and eating. It was also very nice to have 2 parking spaces in the garage as parking can be difficult in that area. I would definitely recommend the Monarch Villa.

When we arrived at 4p check in the cleaning crew was still there so we had to check in late. On 6/18 we experienced a severe back up in the plumbing late morning. The casita bathroom and bathtub overflowed from the waste upstairs. After notifying Seven Sisters of the issue they acknowledged it and said they would have maintenance take a look. We left the condo for the day. When we returned in the late afternoon we were told that they took a look and it was taken care of. However, it was not. The casita was still covered in waste water and the plumbing continued to back up. A professional plumber was called and he spent hours finally unclogging the main drain. We couldn't shower or use the bathroom for the majority of the evening on 6/18. I understand things happen, but if it wasn't for the persistence of the plumber that was called we would not be able to use the bathroom or shower the rest of the trip.

The convenience of parking our car in the garage and not driving for 4 days was the best. Be sure you understand the listing description because this is a 2 bedroom condo with a separate casita downstairs attached to the garage. Your party that needs the 3rd bedroom will have to exit the casita and go up the OUTSIDE stairs that could result in encountering the guests in the neighboring condo. Know that you are removed from your party staying upstairs. The condo is equipped with just about anything and everything you could need, very clean and comfortable.

Loved the property and location. Lots of stairs but doable for a short stay. Oven wasn’t working but the response and fix was very quick. Communication was excellent. We would stay here again.

Staying at the Monarch Villa was very relaxing. The condo was comfortable, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully included a lot of extras for guests. The hosts made it easy and were very clear with their expectations and information regarding check in/out and our stay. They also responded quickly when asked a question. It takes a couple of minutes to get used to which door to use, but, once you get that, it’s simple. The condo is just down the street from the beach and in an area highly suitable for walking. I would definitely stay at the Monarch Villa again.

We had a couple things happen that needed attention from the management, and they are very quick to respond and get any issue resolved. We would definitely stay here again in the future!
