Modern, Spacious, Pet-Friendly Cape Mackie!

Patti and Jason’s home is perfect for a week long stay in Cape May! There’s plenty of room for a family and the house is great for dogs. The house was stocked with amenities and had everything we needed for our trip. We loved the multiple decks, the outdoor shower, and the beach box was so convenient. The house is a quick bike ride to the beach, Washington St., and all things Cape May has to offer. Patti was an amazing host and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay - 10/10!

Beautiful condo! Great location. Property was very clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of pillows and blankets for comfort. Loved that the owners thought of our little furry friends with food and water dishes for the pups. We really appreciated how everything was outlined for both check-in and check-out which made it very easy. Owner was very quick to answer any questions we had. We look forward to staying at this property again in the future!

This property is as advertised and one of the nicest vacation rentals I have stayed at. The description is accurate, photos are true and the hosts have thought of everything little thing you might need when away from home. This Cape May rental even offers sheets & towels (you will be expected to launder and replace), but you can still provide your own (as we did). The house is located very close to the downtown and almost everything is walkable (even the beach). If your dog travels with, there is a dog park and plenty of sidewalks to walk on. Don’t plan on them joining you on the nature trail, dogs are not allowed (one thing I didn’t realize). This is definitely a great place to stay and we will be back someday.

Enjoyed our three night stay here. The location is excellent and is within walking distance of beach, nature trail and grocery store. The place was clean, comfortable and well supplied. Overall, we had a great experience.

Very walkable location and a well organized and maintained home. It was a great escape for us with our little one during the long cold winter in early 2026. The need to bring our own linens was a bit of a hassle but we made due. Would have also been nice to know that there would be no soap or shampoo in advance.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here! The house was incredibly clean - honestly the cleanest and best kept Vrbo I have stayed at. The house was very pet friendly and location was fantastic for proximity to shops and other activities.

House was great. Had everything we needed and was close to everywhere we needed to be. Patti was very prompt in answering questions—great communication. The house was comfortable and had plenty of room was our family. We would definitely recommend this place and would come back again! I fell in love with the area. What beautiful homes and atmosphere. Loved all the Christmas lights in town and the people were friendly.

We just loved our long week in this home for Thanksgiving! Our family of four and our little poodle felt right at home! They house is very clean, well decorated and very welcoming! Everything we needed was there and more! Kids loved playing the board games! It was in the perfect location, close to Washington Square and Beach area. We will definately be back!

5 Stars – Another Wonderful Stay!This was our second time staying at this property, and once again it was absolutely perfect. The home is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The owners are incredibly kind, responsive, and truly go above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome. It’s clear they take great pride in their home, and it shows in every detail. We’re already looking forward to coming back again—this is our favorite getaway spot!

This is our 6th or 7th time (I’ve lost count!) staying at Cape Mackie! Truly feels like a home away from home for our family! Always sparkly clean and so spacious and comfy. Patti is the sweetest and amazing with communication. The house is also within walking distance of Washington Street Mall, grocery store, playgrounds/parks, a nature trail and more. The house has pretty much everything you would need during your stay. And the beach box is an added plus! We absolutely love Cape May and Cape Mackie and can’t wait for our next trip!

Cape Mackie is seriously my favorite place to stay. Everything is perfect. It is wonderfully decorated, amazingly clean, has the comforts of home and more. This was my second stay and I can’t say enough about how much I love it!

My friends and I had a great time staying here! The house was very nice and clean and had everything we needed and was walking distance from downtown and the beach. I wasn't initially aware of the bring your own linens or wash, dry, and put away everything you use before checkout policy, so this was surprising to me compared to other places I stayed, but was doable and would make more sense for a longer stay. Patti and Jason were very responsive to all our questions and concerns. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. The home is lovely, and even nicer than in the pictures. The location is great and it’s a quick walk to the beautiful beach, or into quaint Cape May for shopping and restaurants. The home is well appointed, and exceptionally clean. I recommend highly and hope to stay there again in the future.

My family stayed here for a wedding we were attending in Cape May, and the property was absolutely perfect for us and our pup. It was super clean, cozy, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. This Cape May property is easy to locate as it is on the main street entering the town and is close to Washington Square (which has plenty of amazing shops and restaurants). The property is pristine, with such care to cleanliness, organization, and amenities. All the appliances and electronics are updated, and the house is fully stocked. The house is very welcoming, and upon entering, you notice that the home is well taken care of. Even though this is a pet-friendly location, you cannot smell any animal scents or see any signs of pets except for complimentary dog dishes and toys. The owner, Patti, is pleasant to talk to on the phone and has quickly responded when I had questions about the property whether through VRBO's messages or on the phone. Highly recommend spending your time at this excellent location!

We stayed here for a Wildwood Cheer competition. It was definitely a home away from home. Very inviting and comfortable. This home was very clean and organized. The owners are wonderful, very helpful, and communicate well. We would stay here again.

We had a great time in this wonderful property in beautiful Cape May. I really liked that there was actual Fall decorations which gave you the feeling that you were in a home not just a rental. We hope to return again in the spring.

Loved our stay at this property. It was perfectly located and an easy walk to points of interest like Washington Mall and the Physick Estate. Very well appointed kitchen and lovely decor. Clean, quiet and very relaxing after long active days. We'll be back!
