First, there is a convoluted process to just to gain access to the door of this unit. Then the key fob used to access the property was not working so I messaged the host. Three hours later, I messaged them Nd again in another three hours. They responded with the instructions on how to get in, but no remedy on the key. The next morning I get another message that they are working to resolve my issue. Not much help on check out day. The unit itself was just ok. The apartment is about a 30 minute walk to the Superdome or to the French Quarter. We felt fairly safe.

Let’s just start by saying the communication between VRBO and Hosteeva to the guest needs much improvement. This was my first time using VRBO and I will not do it again. The unit was owned by Hosteeva but we rented through VRBO and paid the VRBO service fee. However - every time we had a facility question - our question was sent from VRBO to Hosteeva and then Hosteeva response was blocked by VRBO. Instead, we would receive an email asking if we were happy with our response. The answer was always no - since I did not receive a response. Instead - I recommend calling Hosteeva directly- to ask questions. Since it is required to call Hosteeva directly with every question, I don’t know the reason to pay $150 VRBO fee. The whole process was extremely frustrating. The unit however was amazing. We had six adults - there is more than enough space to spread out and have privacy. The layout is on two levels and a little odd - especially the toilet on the ground level (I am 5’3” and could barely touch the floor with my toes when seated on the raised toilet) but overall the space was terrific. Our only issue was gaining access. It is a bit complicated - you have to get a key from the front of the building - and then walk down a block to an apartment building - walk through the lobby to its interior parking lot- walk through the parking lot back to the original building, reach through a gate to open from the inside because there is no handle on the exterior gate, call Hosteeva, then use a second code to enter the actual unit. There is only one fob to go through the apartment and the front of the building is locked so you cannot exit or enter except this way. This requires the group to coordinate so someone is available with the single fob to provide access to the interior parking lot - or stand around and run through when someone opens the gate for their car (which we did a couple of times).

Property is huge great for a large family or Group of friends. Simple esthetic but needs up keep the unit we stayed on had minor issues our biggest problem was parking it’s not in the best neighborhood not being able to park in the gated area due to towing was inconvenient even when the instructions inside the house stated there Was a parking pass available after inquiring about it I did not hear back from the renter or company house needs a little more organization but beds linens towels clean beds comfy bathroom stocked with toiletries kitchen needs more cooking gear loved the grill available in the patio it was a great place with more potential to make it home away from home.

Clean, not enough towels. It was hard to find the door and only had one fob to get in and out so you had make sure you did not get locked out. Fridge had only two shelves and smelled bad, ice maker didn't work.

Definitely 5 / 5. 1) Main Entry: hold the fob in front of the sensor until you hear the beep then WAIT until you hear the clunk of the lock releasing before you pull on the door. Two levels; a nice set up for people with different habits, i.e. night owls v. early risers. The towels, bed linens, and toilet paper are of good quality. The mattresses are pleasantly firm. Double check the dryer heat before you wash the clothes. The kitchen isn't equipped for serious or family cooking. If you'd really rather cook than dine out in New Orleans, bring your cutting boards and knives and contact your analyst. The street looked a bit rough, but I left my car parked in the same place for four days with no vandalism. And the neighbors were helpful. I was praised for my selection by my travelling companions. :)

Instructions for entry were horrible. We were locked out for an hour. And you cannot access in or out without a key which is not helpful with a group. location is the only good thing

The condo had lots of room and we felt completely safe. We were able to park our car inside a gated area so that was a plus. Would consider staying there again.
