Modern 2BR/2BA condo unit w/ community pool and oceanfront view

What a fabulous place to stay. Top notch. View was incredible from sunrise to the glow of the sunset through the bedroom windows. Hi quality furnishings. Would love to come back again and again

The location to the beach and the view is spectacular. The decor of the unit and overall cleanliness is fantastic. Too bad humans have five senses. All day Thursday and part of the day Friday, major construction was occurring on our floor. Like major framing type construction. It felt like we were in an episode of This Old House or Property Brothers. When I addressed it with the staff, I was met with indifference.This made the fact that we didn’t have any hot water for the first two days seem trivial.The freezer was also on the fritz. The ice maker and water filtration system didn’t work.The pictures or the beach access are old, the unit has no beach anymore due to erosion. Also, read the fine print. The pool is closed from October until March.It’s unfortunate. This is our second time staying at The Islander. We thought we would stay again since my daughter lives 15 minutes away in Wilmington and we had a wonderful time the first time we stayed six years prior to this last stay.We’ll stay elsewhere from now on. Wrightsville has plenty of other options.

Loved everything about it

While driving to our destination, we received a text notifying us that the property will be under construction Monday through Friday from 8 am. to 5 p.m. and there would be NO REFUNDS. Had we known this, we never would have rented this property. The construction noise was extremely loud, constant and right outside our balcony. We are shocked the unit was rented out under these circumstances! Seascapes Properties could care less about the renter's experience under these circumstances / conditions.

Rooms are decorated so nicely. Great space , even better in person! We slept so well. The beds and pillows were very comfortable! Gorgeous ocean view from the captains chairs placed right at the balcany doors.

Everything was as described and unit is very comfortable. Check-in / Check-out and communication during stay was excellent. Beautiful view!

This is a cute condo and well furnished. However, the highly scented detergent, scented trash bags, all just too overwhelming and unnecessary in such a tiny condo. I contacted the property management three times asking if unscented detergent could be used on the sheets due to allergies with no response back. On the day of our arrival, I was able to get someone on the phone who told me the cleaning company the owners used washed the sheets in unscented detergent. Well the bedspread, the mattress pad, the shams, as well as the linens in the second bedroom were so overpowering with fragrance I spent the entire first day rewashing all of the bedding... Loads of fun.

Overall, a very welcoming property with a terrific view and excellent beach access. We love Wrightsville Beach and you couldn’t ask for a better location. We had one small problem at check in; there were no parking permits provided. Since it was after closing hours, we couldn’t reach anyone to resolve this, so we left a note on our dashboard and crossed our fingers that we would not be towed. Management did contact us first thing the next morning and brought over the necessary passes. This wasn’t a problem, since we were staying off season.

Phenomenal view, excellent kitchen, beds were comfortable, everything was amazing! Could not be the convenience of all of it! We would definitely come back!
