Sandcastle 2606 has been recently renovated in November 2023 and offers a contemporary coastal flair with modern updates throughout.

This dog friendly (1 per booking), 3-bedroom 2-bathroom condo is perched above the sandy shoreline boasting a beachfront corner balcony offering breathtaking views of the turquoise water of the Gulf of Mexico. The condo can accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably.

The fully equipped, well-appointed kitchen has recently been updated with a full suite of stainless steel appliances and overlooks the open dining area and living room with plush furnishings and a coastal chic design. The living room has ample room for everyone to relax in after a sun filled day at the beach.

The corner balcony accessible from the living area boasts sweeping views of all the natural beauty the coast has to offer. The primary bedroom boasts a King-size bed, large flat screen tv and has a full size ensuite bathroom offering a brand-new tub/shower combo. A private entrance to the balcony is also located in the primary bedroom. The first guest bedroom has a Queen-size bed, and the second guest bedroom has a bunkbed with a full-size futon on bottom and a twin-size bed on top. Both guest bedrooms are adjacent to a full-size bathroom offering a walk-in shower.

Thoughtful perks like a stackable washer and dryer and Queen-size air mattress are provided for added convenience.

The unit comes with 1 assigned covered parking spot and 1 guest pass with a first come first serve basis.

Community amenities include a heated pool and Spa as well as a grilling area with several gas grills. The condo is located in Indian Shores which is a quiet beach community that sits just south of Indian Rocks beach and is located across the street from Caddy's Bar and Grill. Clearwater Beach is a short drive to the North and John's Pass in Madeira Beach to the South where you will find ample shopping and restaurants to enjoy.

Arrival Instructions: Once your booking has been finalized, we will email you our contact information and specific instructions for pick up keys at our local office. Be sure to check your Spam folder for our emails.

Self-Catering: The unit is being offered as a self-catering accommodation. The unit is stocked with enough basics to get you going for the first night.. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. Fresh bed linens and bath towels are provided. The unit is equipped with a washer/dryer. At the end of your stay, wash and put away any dishes, empty the fridge and cupboards and take the trash out to the bins before you leave. A minimum charge of $300 will apply for missing linens and/or housekeeping services that exceed normal use. A minimum charge of $1,000 will apply for smoking in the property.

Transportation: The unit is located approximately 20 miles from Tampa International Airport, and 12 miles from St. Petersburg - Clearwater International Airport. Ground transportation is available through rideshare. Getting around Pinellas barrier-island beach towns is inexpensive, fun, easy, and convenient when you take advantage of the Pinellas Suncoast Beach Trolley (Psta) service. The Suncoast Beach Trolley runs from Clearwater Beach (north) to Pass-A-Grille (south) and stops at specially marked Trolley Stop locations along the entire Gulf Blvd route.

Pet Policy: Dogs only are permitted in this vacation rentals and must be arranged in advance. Any unapproved pet is prohibited and could result in eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid. You are solely responsible for any damage or personal injury caused by your pet. One (1) dog up to 35 pounds is acceptable with a $150 non-refundable pet fee.

Accidental Damage Protection: Insurance as listed in Homeaway/-- other charges will cover up to $3,000 of unintentional damage to the rental unit that occurs during your stay. Intentional damage of damage that exceeds the maximum will be charged to the credit card on file. In lieu of the insurance a $3,000 damage deposit will be required upon final payment.

    We recently stayed in your unit and wanted to share our positive experience. We were so impressed with all the amenities provided – it truly had everything we could possibly need, and we especially appreciated the crock pot!The unit was impeccably clean and very well maintained. We found the beds to be comfortable, and the rooms offered ample storage space for our belongings. The wraparound balcony was a wonderful place to relax, and there was plenty of seating for us to enjoy meals outside.We also noticed that the pool area, grills, and walkway were spotless. The pool's location was fantastic, offering a great view of the ocean.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this unit again for future trips.

    The condo was nice. It was clean and well furnished/stocked. The condo was quiet - we rarely heard others around us. We appreciate the additional beach towels, chairs, and games in the condo. It also had beach toys and a tent that we didn't use, but how convenient. The view was amazing! We enjoyed the numerous chairs on the balcony. We were surprised there was not a dedicated walkway across the dunes to the beach - this could be tough for anyone physically challenged or carrying all their families chairs, bags, cooler, etc. The king bed was comfortable. The bunk in guest room was so-so - maybe ok for small kids, but not for our older teen/adult children. When I initially booked in early 2024, the picture showed 2 twin beds (not a bunk). I think it may have been in the midst of a remodel; pics have since been updated/corrected. The parking for this unit was stressful to me. We drove a full size truck and the parking deck was tight. We did appreciate the covered and assigned parking spot though. We had 2 cars for our family. Guest parking was scarce but later in the week we were able to secure a guest spot. This was our first trip to Indian Shores. Overall we felt that dining was limited and most things we wanted to do was a little further away. We liked Coco's restaurant. We tried going to Salt Rock, but it was always packed. Walked across the road to Caddy's and was not impressed. But the area is beautiful and not too congested/crowded as other touristy beaches.

    We really like the newly updated Condo. This unit has everything you need for a seamless beach vacation. Very close to restaurants and bars. Very clean. Also centrally located if you wanted to go into Clearwater or St. Pete. The only possible issue was the comfort of the new couches and kitchen chairs. However for the amount of time we spent in the condo this was not a huge issue. Overall we would continue to rent this unit.

    This condo was perfect for our family. The location was wonderful and had everything we needed. The pool was great too and there was a good restaurant right across the street. The only problem was parking a 2nd car. There was definitely not enough guest parking.

    We have 2 children under 2 and this condo was perfect! Oceanfront with a huge balcony! Beaches were clean, gorgeous and calm for a toddler to splash around in. Because the beach was so convenient we did not use the pool, but it appeared well kept as well! The condo, though older, was clean (just some dust and crumbs under couches)and had so many beach chairs, umbrellas, even a tent and toys! We would love to come back!

    The property is fine, needs a little updating. Would be nice have a door code instead of keys. The location is fantastic, the view is fantastic. When you are at the beach, all that is needed is a place to sleep. This unit Is set up well for families. The pool was great, the grounds are clean. The management company was good to work with. Issues that I had got resolved and were handled quickly.
