Stayed May 15, 2025We were down from michigan to visit my daughter that is training in brunswick. We wanted the beach and a pool. This was perfect for both. Walking distance to beach and pool right on complex. We used both. We had my granddaughter who is 18 months old and goes to bed at 7 or 8.. our bed in our room made a lot of noise so we had to be careful to not wake the baby. Other than that the room was great.. i enjoyed the coffee compliments of owners and the room was clean. We had the wifi go out while there but they were on it right away. We didnt care though because we dont watch tv anyway. Loved the amount of room we had in the place. The location being close to the beach and to town was geeat. Thank you

Stayed Feb 27, 2025Overall it was a decent experience. The owner(s) was amazing and had very quick reaponse times!! Only issues were that the beds were ungodly uncomfortable and were spring mattress so any little move you made squaked and was so loud. Most of us barely got much sleep. Also 90% of the cabinet/drawers had there handles falling off. Other then that it was a decent place for the price we payed and hopefully they can get those couple things fixed because we would love to come again

Stayed Oct 31, 2024Our group have stayed at this complex on several occasions for the Georgia/florida football game weekend. This was our first visit to the Mermaid Den. The property was clean and comfortable, however could use some updates. The complex that the Mermaid Den is located is run by an HOA, and the HOA Needs to clean up exterior around the entryways spiderweb/cobwebs all around stairs and ceilings and doors.

Stayed Aug 8, 2024Perfect for couples or families. Spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Close to the beach and pool access, if desired. Quiet neighborhood. Didn't want to leave and will plan to return. Loved Amelia Island.

Stayed Jul 8, 2024We enjoyed our stay. We had a minor issue with the televisions, but the property manager responded immediately and was able to fix the situation very quickly. We would stay at this property again. The only recommendation we would make is the vacuum that was provided was broken, it wasn’t a big deal because it wasn’t even advertised in the listing, but coming from the beach every day it would’ve been easier to keep up on the cleanliness throughout our stay if we had a working vacuum. Overall though nice property, exactly as listed, pleasant experience with property management and wonderful location.
