Stayed Aug 26, 2024Nice condo. Large open area. Slow elevator in the bldg. beds were hard! Shower nozzle in one bath did not have a hook. Very modern and well stocked. Close to clementine’s. Walk to town was close, but uphill!

Stayed Sep 25, 2025We really enjoyed our stay in St. Joseph at the Marina/Roof top deck! The house had plenty of beds and the dining and family room area was very spacious, making it perfect for gathering together. The accommodations were very comfortable, with two full bathrooms, lots of towels, and even beach towels provided. The location was great as well—walkable to downtown St. Joseph, where there are so many fun things to do. Overall, a wonderful spot for a relaxing and convenient getaway!

Stayed Sep 19, 2025Everything was great. Location, cleanliness, amenities. Top notch. We only had trouble with the freezer not making ice, the handle in the shower in the master suite was not working right. The beds were not very comfortable, 100 polyester sheets and a plastic cover over the mattresses which make sleeping warmer. Other than that, we had a great time in the area and enjoyed our stay at this property.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025This VRBO was perfect for a girl's weekend to St. Joseph! It was spacious and clean. The couple things I could say were that the pull out couches were not very comfortable due to the thin mattresses, and the rooftop description was inaccurate. The roofing tiles are warping, there was no seating, there was no grill, and the bags set didn't have bean bags. Overall it was a great stay, but the tenants might want to put some pressure on the condo company to turn the rooftop into the amenity it is described as.

Stayed Aug 10, 2025Perfect place for our family of 5. Very clean and well maintained with plenty of seating for relaxing after a trip to the beach. I loved looking out over the marina and it was easy to drive the short distance to park downtown. The owner also provides a folder with restaurant info and other ideas for enjoying St Joseph. I wish there were dressers to allow for unpacking and better organization but overall it was absolutely a lovely stay. We hope to be back!

Stayed Aug 9, 2025We had a great time and the place was perfect. We would have liked the light switches labeled and I don’t recommend driving a large vehicle if you need to park in the garage! We were late to dinner trying to get out. Overall, super cute place and plenty of room to hang out together!

Stayed Jul 26, 2025We really enjoyed our stay here! The host was very responsive, and the location was perfect—just a 15-minute walk to the beach and easy to stroll around St. Jo and back to the apartment. My mom uses a walker, and we had a stroller for the kids, so the elevator and garage parking were a huge help for mobility and very much appreciated. The space itself worked really well for our group. The living room/kitchen area was spacious—we had six adults and two kids at one point and never felt crowded. We loved watching the boats in the marina and being able to walk to Clementine’s for dinner. Families will appreciate that there’s a crib available, which was a big plus for us!A few things to note for anyone who cares about them: the toilets and some of the seating (like the couch and some chairs) are pretty low, which was tricky for some of our older guests. The beds are comfy but do squeak a bit, so something to keep in mind if you have a light sleeper or little one. We also noticed some wear and tear around the unit, like a crack in the dining table, a bathroom picture that wouldn’t stay up, and some marks on the walls and ottomans—but overall it still felt comfortable and homey.Overall, this was a great stay in a convenient spot, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches for both kids and older family members.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025We enjoyed our stay and the condo was very nice. I disagree that you can walk to Silver Beach. It’s quite a long walk and a lot of traffic. Would also be an uphill climb back. It was well equipped except for no containers with lids in the kitchen, which would be very helpful for leftovers and packing food for the beach. Check in was smooth and the owners were always quick to respond to my questions. The “beach chairs” are really just camping chairs and were OK but not ideal. The master bedroom, bath and closet was huge and very nice but it is the room with two beds, which is a little odd. The room with one bed is very small, not much room at all for suitcases, etc. No drawers or space to put clothes. Everything was clean and nice though. Restaurant next door, Clementines, was very good. We drove to the beach and paid to park each day. The beach was absolutely wonderful. The pizza place is fantastic and even the little snack shack was really good. Lots of unique shakes and ice cream flavors. Overall a great trip and perfect family get away. And you can’t beat the sunsets on the beach!!!

Stayed Jun 22, 2025We had a solid stay overall. Check-in was smooth and easy, and communication with the host was great throughout. We were especially thankful for the A/C, as it was a very hot weekend in Michigan, and the unit stayed cool and comfortable the entire time.A few things to note for future guests: The layout includes a lot of light switches with no labels, which made figuring out lighting a bit frustrating. The beds had nice mattresses, but the frames were very noisy and resulted in lots of creaking and metal popping sounds that made it hard to sleep through the night. The listing says it's walking distance to downtown and the beach, and technically that's true as it’s about a 20-minute walk. But it’s a steep uphill walk out of the condo towards the beach/downtown, making it a tough trip if you're carrying gear or a wiggly toddler. Fortunately, there’s free parking at the top of the hill near downtown, which we used to cut off about 5 minutes from the walk—much more manageable that way.All in all, a comfortable stay with a few quirks to be aware of.
