We had a wonderful stay! The place was very comfortable, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. It’s conveniently located near all the great beaches and amenities on the West Coast. The property felt very safe and was beautifully maintained — a perfect home base for exploring the area.

Everything is ok. The view and location are one of the least advantageous within Colony Villas and since the condo is professionally managed, there are no benefits typical to privately offered rentals - e.g. kitchen equipment basic stuff only, no hobby equipment available (locked away in garage), limited towels, etc

Great location. Super comfortable for a family of 4. Great kitchen. Nice outdoor spaces. Second bedroom AC didn’t work well.

The home was spacious and clean. The host was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Amenities and grounds were impeccable and quiet. It was peaceful and relaxing and convenient to many places on the island. Communication was clear and polite. There is the feeling of Aloha all over this place!

We made this reservations shortly before we arrived on island. Kind of had to take what was available. The property cleanliness was less than acceptable. The master bed comfort was terrible. Kitchen appointments and such were minimal. Overall, the unit was somewhat outdated, And in need of some thorough cleaning.

Loved the stay. Great area. Worked perfectly for us. Would rent again.

Reviewer Comments: An excellent location accessible to malls within walking distance, restaurants, golf courses, beaches, and unobstructed views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. The landscaping of the complex and beyond the complex are very well maintained and well planned for a variety of tropical plantings. The following disappointments for this particular unit are (1) dirty floors where you can get black feet when walking barefoot despite the sign posted on the entrance door requesting not to wear shoes inside, (2) fuzzballs and cobwebs are evident in most corners (3) the garbage disposal kept getting clogged, (4) baseboards are heavily scuffed and need to be painted, (5) the dryer hose kept detaching from the exhaust outlet and (6) shades over sliding doors don't fully open and stay half way open requiring you to duck under when going out. Despite these shortcomings, this unit is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Instruction sheets on how to use TV consoles for both the great room and master bedroom would be very helpful for those who are not technically savvy. Additionally, more cleaning supplies like swiffer duster and swiffer wet jet would be helpful for those who are staying for more than one week.

This is a nice little condo. A little older but seems to be well maintained. The one thing we did not like it the parking. There is no assigned space so if you arrived in the evening you ended up parking a distance away from the condo.
