Luxury 3 bedroom Condo in Paseo del Sol by BRIC

The Paseo Del Sol property is great. Full time security and immaculate grounds. Pool is gorgeous, tennis/pickle ball courts are great. The layout of the unit is perfect, with lots of space for our family (2 kids, two parents). Great patio and large kitchen. This unit is tired, and needs an upgrade. The electricity panel broke (not the fuse, the whole panel), the bathroom window wouldn't close completely, and things like soap holders have broken from the wall. But Erika, the property manager, was wonderful. Responsive to any issue by Whatsapp, she made sure we had power back quickly, knew how to get more water, and even helped us order groceries and find pharmacies. He helped coordinate our airport pickup/drop off, and when my son left his Airpods in the van, she contacted the driver and they were returned the next day! She made sure we were comfortable and happy.lovely trip.

Stayed here from Christmas to New Years.I’ll start with the first day it was a doozy.We booked our taxi through BRIC. We were told they would have a sign with our name- didn’t happen. Took a couple of calls/emails- 40 minutes later the driver shows up.Then we arrived and were told the security guard had the key for us-He did not. After some calls and texts- Erika provided a code for the key box. The whole thing took about 20minutes- but it was annoying, particularly with a family of 6.Lastly one of the toilets was broken when we arrived. They fixed this the following day- but having one working bathroom for 6 people was less than ideal.The apartment was clean, pool was nice and welcoming- as was the gym. Elevator works well- 24 hour security made us feel safe.Couple of fixtures in the apartment were broken- A/C in one of the kids rooms didn’t work- one of the shower heads didn’t stay up on its own. Kitchen is equipped with basics. Also one of the bedrooms has no closet.Washer and Dryer worked well- and we utilized daily.We were able to walk to dinner- and to the ferry terminal- it’s about 15-20 minute walk- if you need a taxi- the security guard can get you one within 5 minutes- super convenient. Beach access is just odd. They give you a wrist band- then you go through a gate to a beach a block away- which is crowded with people from all the nearby hotels. Only you don’t have a place to sit- and the apartment has no beach chairs or umbrellas.

The condo is located on best gated community of Playa del Carmen (Playacar). Playacar is very walkable, beautiful, and safe. Although the condo is not located on the beach, it has has access to a private beach (5 minute walk), the same beach used by the nearby resorts. (RIU, etc). The beach is amazing. The condo has a very beautiful and large heated pool, surrounded by well kept green areas that full of palm trees and local fauna. The condo unit is very spacious, very nicely decorated, and overall in very good condition (specially the kitchen, living room and bed rooms). However, if I'm picky, the bathrooms could use an upgrade and the air conditioner units could be less noisy, but for the price point the condo unit is excellent. Erika, our condo ambassador was very responsive and very helpful. She gave us a tour of the unit, answer all our questions and resolved all our issues.

A gorgeous and clean condo! The grounds are spotless and beautiful. The pool was very nice and warm! Communication was great. Check in and out was effortless! Erica was amazing! We felt very safe here!
