Luxury 2 bedroom condo by the beach

We have stayed at many VRBO property's and never had an experience like this... We arrived to check in at 7:30 pm and had to look for the property as no one was there to greet us, when we did find the place it was locked not open as we had been told. We had to go back to the front gate and have them track down a property manager to get us a key, this took around half an hour. The manager Freddy arrived and then proceeded to tell us the place had not been cleaned, and was not ready, apologizing saying he never knew we were coming. Floors were very dirty, all of the patio furniture was inside piled in the dining area, towels were hanging used in the bathroom, and dishwasher had dirty dishes in it, drinking water jug was half empty and open on the floor beside the garbage cans, old fruit on the counter....The manager did have someone clean the next day for 3 hours as my husband sat inside waiting. Lack of security, the door lock on the balcony was broken, we asked for it to be repaired, but this never happened on our stay...not great as there is no safe. We were provided a sealed jug of drinking water and some other supplies we requested from the owner, as well as a partial reimbursement for the first night. This experience was terrible, there seems to be a lack of good management and communication. We would suggest that management/owner reviews their arrival protocol and puts some checks in place as this is unacceptable on a VRBO platform. Regards Carolyn and Dennis

We were super thrilled with the generous size of this condo for our family of 5. It was an extra bonus that the balcony (also very well sized) overlooked one of the smaller pools. The home was simply decorated. Had all the kitchen amenities but could have used some sharper knives. 'Check in' was awkward as there really is no place to check in. We had no idea that the condo had already been unlocked for us. We had to get our taxi driver to call the manager contact we had to find out what to do. Besides that everything else was easy to figure out and we got immediate responses if we had any questions. The condo grounds are beautiful and incredibly well kept. Felt really fantastic to come back to everyday. The only thing I wish I realized was the high cost of the VRBO service fee and stay tax. These amounts ended up to a total of $1600 on top of the nightly rate. As beautiful as this place was, the accommodations ended up costing us a lot more than I anticipated.

We love the property at Cosmo. And residents there are so welcoming. Lots of pros- including the property management returning cash we had left in the room. (WOW!) SO VERY APPRECIATED! The pools, the beach, the restaurants, & fitness center are all excellent. Just a few cons, which is the construction noise was very loud, even indoors. We were out and about most days but the noise begins promptly at 7am. Hopefully project in bldg 5 will be done soon. Some towels in unit were stained and had tears. But overall, this is a beautiful place to stay and the property management was excellent with their communication and accommodations. Still can’t believe our money was returned to us, and that alone deserves 5 stars!

Had a great time, the property is great with lots of amenities. Beach is awesome. (Walking distance). Pools are great.

2nd time to the Cosmo, beautiful property and very clean. Would absolutely recommend this area but be warned that there are many stairs and inclines. Our unit 7D2 was everything we expected and nicely finished.

Nice and clean condo, awesome gardens, great view. The kids enjoyed the pools a lot!

Not for people with mobility problems, I have bad knees and their are way too many stairs and ramps to go on. We were told minimal stairs and ramps well it's 36 stairs to get to the first pool, so we couldn't even go to the other pools because of the stairs and ramps.
