Stayed Feb 7, 2026The host was very welcoming and responded to queries in a timely fashion. All amenities as were as described. The condo is spacious, very clean and well appointed. The outdoor patio area is very comfortable with direct access to the grounds and beach. We had a minor issue with a shower door that was corrected immediately. The complex is immaculate both inside and out. The grounds were spotless with staff on site daily. There is a plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas and if they are full the attendant with get more from the complex. Gate staff were an excellent resource for taxi recommendations and general information. The rooftop patio area and pool is beautiful providing plenty of shade and a great view. I would recommend beach shoes as some areas of the beach are quite rocky. We rented a car which made getting around easier. Rascals beach bar is right down the beach and has good drinks and lunch food but closes at 6. La Cabane is a 5 minute drive and has excellent food and is a really unique experience. Groceries are available at the Massey store which is a 10 minute drive away in Bridgetown. The condo is only 20 minutes from Holetown which offers lots of dining and shopping options. This was our 5th time to Barbados and first stay on the west coast. I would highly recommend Bruce's condo to anyone looking to stay on the west side. Thanks for a great 9 days.

Stayed Mar 7, 2025My husband was suspect of Allure before we got here because we come to Barbados about once a year and stay in St James but I told him I found this place on VRBO and I was a little nervous because there were no reviews and have been catfished before in Montreal. However the review count is low because it’s BRAND new and we were one of the first to stay here. Everything is new and very very nice.We travel a lot and usually prefer a hotel in most cities but it’s so much nicer to stay here than a hotel in Barbados, W/D, kitchen, living room and dining room, etc…Everyone is very nice and the rooftop pool, fire pit and view are extremely nice. We will definitely stay here again.It’s not walkable so you need to rent a car or spend a lot of money on taxis. Don’t forget they drive on the opposite side of the car and road. Very easy for me but confusing for a lot of people.Our unit was perfect. Everything was new and everything was perfect. Very easy to communicate with Bruce and Tiff. I couldn’t say anything but the nicest things.
