Loved this cozy condo. Everything worked great and it was only a short walk to the beach. Couldn’t complain if I wanted to.

We recently stayed at Holiday Surf & Racquet Club and had a mostly enjoyable experience, but there are a few things future guests should be aware of.Pros:• Great location. It’s close to all the main attractions and restaurants, making it easy to explore town.• Cleanliness. The condo and common areas were very clean and well-maintained.• Nice pool. The pool was a great place to cool off and was also very clean.• Beach chairs and umbrella included. Just keep in mind they aren’t reserved for your specific unit—it’s first come, first serve unless you pay extra to reserve a setup. Don’t waste time standing in line, just get your spot.Cons:• Very small bathrooms. The bathrooms were extremely tight, which made them feel cramped, especially for families.• No washer and dryer in the unit.• Delayed check-in. While check-in is listed as 4 PM, it seems normal for units not to be ready until closer to 5 PM.• Maintenance in the unit during our stay. We came back one day to find maintenance workers inside our condo. They didn’t introduce themselves or apologize—just sat silently while we tried to navigate being in the space we paid a premium to enjoy. Not exactly relaxing or private.• “Updated” listing is a bit misleading. The updates seem cosmetic, as the bathroom still felt old and a bit outdated.We might consider staying here again because of the convenient location and general cleanliness, but the maintenance situation will make us look at other locations nearby.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second year we've stayed at the Club. The property is lovely and you can't beat the location. As for our unit, it needed some TLC (shower heads not full pressure, some chunks of ceiling loose. Also, I was not aware that this unit shares a wall with the reception hall. Saturday night there was a wedding that had music blaring through the walls until 10pm. There is also a restroom right outside your door that is used by the party. I wish this was included in the description. Just not what we hoped for. Wouldn't book this unit again, but would try elsewhere in the property.

The only problem we had was the kitchen faucet is a little funky and sometimes hard to turn off. You have to find the right spot to stop the water. Other than that, it was nice. The resort is nice. I like that you are able to turn in dirty towels & bed sheets twice a week for clean ones. That was amazing! The resort is centrally located and easy in and out. Beautiful beach and nice clean pool. We would definitely be back!

This was our second stay and plan to stay again next year.

It was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of room for us. Very pretty place. Loved how fresh the bed sheets were. Plenty of kitchen/bathroom supplies. The ease of getting to the room from the lobby was a huge plus, didn’t need to walk far at all to get to the stairs/elevator. A bigger pool would have been nice, and if there was a hot tub (we knew there wasn’t one when we booked) it would have made the stay even better! But we were there for the ocean, and being my first time in Destin, I don’t think any other water in Florida can compare to how beautiful it really is!
