Lighthouse 1208 | Indoor/Outdoor Pools + Hot Tub, Sauna & Fitness

Everything was perfect!

This was the perfect getaway for a few days! Plenty of beds, closet space, and a fully stocked kitchen for making meals. We loved the pools, fitness center, easy access to the beach, and convenient access to the rest of Gulf Shores. My favorite part of Lighthouse 1208 was the master bedroom opening out to the balcony to watch the sunrise and sunset.

The condo had everything that was needed during our stay. We have stayed at The Lighthouse on several vacations and we’ll be back. The location is wonderful. Walking distance to restaurants. We happened to go during the 4-day, 52nd Annual Shrimpfest, which was a nice surprise and only a 1/2 mile walk away from the condo. There were only 2 things that could be improved. Half of the curtains in the primary bedroom were room darkening and the other half was not, which made for some early morning wake-up's. Also there was pink mold noted around the primary bathroom sinks and shower area, which could have been easily sprayed away with Tilex Mold and Mildew cleaner. It is always a nice stay at the Lighthouse, and 1208 was no exception. We will be back!

Spectacular view! No surprises, everything as told!!!

The cleaning left some to be desired we found hair in our sheets and the floors were gritty from day one.

Property was great!! We enjoyed our stay! Maintenance was called for a minor leak. Clean and beautiful!

Overall had a fun trip. Leaking ac unit caused some slips and minor injuries and was frustrating to address.

Overall stay 8 out of 10. A few things was broken but got fix by the next day. I would stay at this complex but on a lower floor.

This is our eighth year staying at the Lighthouse, but it is our first time in this particular condo. The check-in process was very easy, and the host was very responsive. However, my family and I had some complaints regarding the cleanliness of the condo. The sheets on the hide-a-bed were dirty, and we found dirty towels underneath the bed. Additionally, the doorknobs to the bathroom in the master suite were broken, but my husband and father were able to fix it. The shower was not clean, the lights in the bunk room flickered on and off, and often didn’t work, and the vacuum cleaner was also unusable. These are all minor issues that are easy to fix, and is the only reason I didn’t give this unit a five-star rating across the board. We love the Lighthouse; as I mentioned, we have been coming here for many years. It is a great location and my kids' favorite place to be.

This was comfortable and acceptable. View was amazing!! Beach area was great. The furniture was dated - mattress was not comfortable in the primary. We arrived to a broken wicker table on the balcony. But for what we were looking for it was fine. Had every imaginable kitchen gadget and more cutlery and dishes that we expected.The issues we had were addressed very quickly and the property management team was very quick to contact and respond to us. We would stay there again.

We loved the condo. The only complaint we have is the mattresses and sheets could be better.

Great location..awsome balcony space. Full laundryroom nice. I meant to report some things needed assesed by owner..but did not get to mentioning them..nothing that effected our stay.

Overall we had a good stay. We liked the patio furniture and the dining room table was a nice size. The kitchen was equipped - but I wish there were some plastic bowls because I was terrified one of my youngest would drop a glass one and break it. They didn’t but I was worried they would. The decor was nice, moderate, and cozy. We did not like the mattresses. They were very uncomfortable and I don’t think anyone got a full night sleep on them. The couch mattress was super worn out. The bedrooms also need dresser storage. We don’t like to live out of our suitcases so we hung all the clothes that could be put on hangers but we just had to put bathing suits, pjs, and undergarments on the tv stand. Overall it was a decent stay and the room was really clean. We enjoyed our trip. Thank you.

The layout of the condo was great for two families of four. The host was very quick to respond to a maintenance issue and it was fixed quickly. The Lighthouse is a great condo. Close to the beach and everything you would want in Gulf Shores. My only complaint would be that the condo just needs a little refresh. The kitchen items and living room furniture were worn down.

We love Lighthouse 1208. We have booked it at least 4 times. It is always clean and well stocked. The beds are comfortable. Itrip has been great. They are very friendly and always available. Someone always checks on us to be sure everything is good in our condo!
