The house was lovely it had everything we could need. The situation is also great within a short walk of the harbour and not much further away are the town centres of Killaloe and Ballina. Maybe a mention of the upstairs living room would have been useful.

the toilet seats all have problems, either moving around or constantly falling down (the lids) the heating is also expensive which means it can be a bit cold

We had a few houses and all were very clean with well equipped kitchen utensils etc. we got an early checkin which was great. Some small details could improve your holiday homes. A Somewhere in hall to hang coats. Little hotel soaps and extra toilet rolls would be good.

Jacinta was really great, the DVD player was not working and she sorted it out quickly and arranged for us to borrow a buggy for our baby - she was relaxed and friendly and very very helpful.

Our holiday home was very comfortable and spacious. A real home from home. Very friendly and accommodating staff. A lovely touch providing all basics like tea, sugar coffee and a little carton of milk. Our daughters loved the on-site playground and walks. The walk into Killaloe and Ballina was wonderful along the lough. We will book again for a longer stay next time - a perfect destination for a small family!

The location is amazing, and the apartment was very clean and spacious The electric pay as you go style meter was a bit of a palaver and we lost money on it, there was only 1 bath which I bath found unusual

Loved the houses themselves - big, bright and spacious with lovely outside space, parking etc. Ideal for a large family like ours. Our house (no. 21) seemed to lack some of the basic equipment that was in the other houses e.g. sweeping brush, dish drainer, small sharp knife/knives, kitchen scissors, adequate number of drinking glasses (especially wine glasses) and teaspoons etc. Never thought to bring tea towels -would be good if that could be mentioned in the advance information. Also, oven gloves/pot holders - not something I would ever think to bring - should really be mentioned in advance. Could have done with separate (kitchen) bin for recycling - would make it easier to separate rubbish and would encourage people to recycle more too. A couple of lights weren't working (probably needed new bulbs.) The markings on the dishwasher and cooker were very worn so they are very hard to read. Same with the markings on the shower in the downstairs bathroom - impossible to see what was cold, hot etc. The curtains and chair covers in the house seemed to be badly stained. Didn't follow up on these things at the time as I only discovered them as the week went on. Also, we were able to borrow things from family members in other houses. Finally, didn't realise until we were leaving that we had to empty bins ourselves - would have thought that would be done by cleaning staff. Apologies for n0t sending you back details about things that were missing etc. before next group was in, but was too tired when I got home. Despite the above, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
