Lakefront home with Stunning Lake Superior Views

This is an excellent place to stay and relax after a day hiking or otherwise visiting the area. The location is very central to things to do both north and south on 61. Nothing is overlooked in terms of what is supplied. Highly recommend staying here.

It was roomy, clean, well labeled, and close to things we wanted to see and do! Pet friendly really helped us. They even had extra dog dishes!

Wonderful place to stay! It’s super clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The location was perfect for visiting attractions all along the north shore. It was very quiet, and it was great to be right on Lake Superior.

The views of Lake Superior were spectacular and we spent many hours sitting on the balcony enjoying nature's beauty. The accommodations worked perfect for us and we appreciated all the amenities. Also enjoyed being so close to many state parks and points of interest. Hope to be back again soon.

The property was perfect. Great location, stunning views and over all a wonderful experience.

We had a group of 6 plus a toddler stay here for several days and we could not be happier with our stay. The place is clean. The kitchen is well outfitted for cooking. Beach access is a major plus. Incredible view right on the shore of Lake Superior.

The place is very pretty, nice views. I feel the on line listing is misleading, you find out the room limitations after the first step of reservation. It lists a hot tub amenity, a jetted tub is not a hot tub. Receiving multiple texts almost every day of your stay is annoying. I don't want to fill out a survey about the cleanliness when I'm on my trip. The fire place vent blower is LOUD, didn't use the fireplace b/c its so noisy. Pipes rattle in the walls when you flush the master toilet. The jetted tub is a racket through the house if you use it. And too many cleaning instructions/jobs.

My family stayed at this lovely rental for four nights, including skiing at Lutsen and hiking nearby State Parks. The view of Lake Superior is amazing. The home layout is great for a family, with two bedrooms up and one on the lower walkout level. Each bedroom has its own bath. The decor is up-north style, with the living area having a gas fireplace and the lower level a gas stove. Very clean, with all kitchen, games, and entertainment necessities that have been thought through and provided! We would stay here again!

The view from most of the rooms was spectacular. We were spoiled with the high-end appliances. House was very well stocked. We appreciated the coffee/hot choc/tea selection. The baby got to enjoy his new chair and toys in the jacuzzi. His mom and aunt (in bathing suits) joined him and even had spa robes to relax in after. Wonderful

Beautiful location, property is in excellent shape, conveniently located near the many parks and trails along the North shore.

Everything about Loon Lodge was as expected for our short family vacation. The location was central to many of the surrounding state parks and allowed for relatively easy access to Lake Superior (I say “relatively” as the stairs to the beach were quite steep for the more senior family members - 80+ yrs old). The accommodations were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing setting overlooking the lake and with a path down to the lake. Loved the large deck overlooking the lake where there was a large table for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner for all four of us. The kitchen had every amenity, tool and device you could imagine…so easy to cook! Property owner was fabulously responsive to every question we had. Would definitely go again.

We enjoyed the proximity to the lake, the great views from the great room, the space for game play in the basement, and all the balconies. Upstairs was hot the week we were there, but otherwise perfect.
