Lake front /pool / boating & Big Boulder Ski Resort located in gated community

Host was flexible with check-in and checkout times.

The home was clean and comfortable. The beds were good. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of paper and cleaning supplies. The host kindly offered an early check in and late check out. We enjoyed the view of the frozen lake right next to the well-drawing fireplace.The only downside worth mentioning was the cold living room temperature. This was very likely due to the frigid temperature during our two day stay. The downstairs bedroom and the upstairs were fine. We had to wear two pairs of socks, slippers and cover up with blankets to be cozy in the living room, even with the heat set on high and a large fire burning. Despite that, we had a great stay.

The cabin was very cozy and had all the amenities we could possibly think of. We stayed there right before Christmas, and it was perfect for a quick wintwr getaway for our family of four. There is a lot to do in the local area. We went skiing and found several excellent restaurants that were very close to the cabin. The host was very reaponsive and went above and beyond to acoomodate us.

Place is clean and everything is in good working order. Nestled in the woods on a quiet lake with wild life free ranging all around. Literally was able to lure deer almost within petting distance. Nice quiet place with plenty of things to do around.

This property was so clean and welcoming. It had exactly everything we needed. The hosts were very communicative and helpful throughout our entire stay. The location of this property is nearby everything, extremely safe, and we had access to the Boulder Lake Club. I would definitely come back here for another vacation getaway!

Overall, a good experience. The place was clean. Well stocked pantry. Note that there doesn’t seem to be any central heat, as far as I can tell (each room has electric heaters)—though it didn’t matter as the weather was nice for our late summer stay.

When I walked inside I was surprised at how big it was. The pictures don’t do a justice! The place was spotless, spacious and had everything we needed to cook meals. The downstairs bedroom was nice and connected to the bathroom and the open concept kitchen area into dining/living room was a nice touch for us all to be together. The grounds are well kept and the spacious deck catered to everyone’s needs as well. The kids loved looking for frogs out back and playing on the loft with their little figurines together. I would go back in a heart beat! Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

2nd time we stayed there. Great place. Close to everything we wanted to do. Owners were easy to contact very friendly.

It was nice and clean. The owner was prompt in responding when we had a question. The AC did not cool off the upstairs. We also felt that the windows should have more privacy with a walking path for the public right next to the house.

The owner, Darren is very easy to work with. The property is very nice and perfectly clean, with a lake view. Note that to access the Bolder Lake Club, you'll likely need to spend $125 for the weekend family rate, and boat rentals are an additional $45 - $65 (depending on type) per 90 minutes. With that in mind, it is possible to have a very fun and memorable weekend away with the family at a very reasonable rate. We had a great time and we plan to return soon!
