Stayed Sep 7, 2025The property was clean and attractive inside. The outside needs some paint and TLC. This was a last minute trip. The listing failed to mention that the closest beach access points are closed, having been washed away by hurricane and storm surge last year. This made going to the beach a hassle we didn't expect. The storage only had a couple old cheap beach chairs and some plastic sand toys. So bring or rent your own. Also not mentioned was that the tv is ROKU so no live sports and the streaming buffered and glitched pretty often. Husband was not happy. The ice maker is disabled as well. Unit is on the second floor so it's not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. Other places we've stayed had some basic helpful info like how to access the beach, closest grocery, favorite restaurants, etc. We got no information at all except for the wild dunes booklet. Overall, we were a little disappointed and would probably not stay here again.
