The property grounds were pretty; although we didn't use the pool or ammenities. The view from the windows and patio was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had some spices and knives etc which was helpful. Our biggest issue revolved around the AC unit. Upon arrival the unit was hot and muggy because the AC was non-functional. We texted with the property manager and they attempted to walk us through operating it. The unit was ultimately non-functional and, despite paying the AC daily fee, we had no AC for 4 of our days. During the day we were out, but we had several people who needed that nighttime reprieve from the heat, so it was a real challange. The Property Manager did help coordinate getting it fixed, but, it took time. Time for the repair folks to get the parts etc and several visits (which means more people in the unit while we were not there). While it wasn't a trip ruiner, it was a hassle having to coordinate and consistently reach out to the property manager since we were not getting regular updates (even of, hey, we are still working on this, but don't have a day yet.) We were refunded the AC daily fee for the 4 days; however, the property manager didn't offer any other reimbursement or compensation for the inconvenience. We understand that things break but it seems reasonable to have the AC's checked by the turn-over staff to ensure that things are in working order before guests arrive. Overall, it is a nice unit, but frustrating experience.

Talk about front row seats….just picture yourself sitting on the lanai, watching and listening to the ocean waves, as well as a good spot for great stargazing. The complex has well-maintained grounds and is convenient to restaurants and K-K activities: the beach, snorkeling, shopping, and the complex offers a nice pool, tennis and pickleball courts. Because the unit Is in an end building, it was nice and quiet. Our unit was spacious as condos go, and had plenty of room for 4 adults. Kitchen has everything you need, and there was thought given to amenities such as everything needed for a day at the beach, games for family game night, guidebooks, etc. as well as W/D in the unit. Communication and checkin processes were timely and information was on-point.

Upon arriving we looked through everything and it appeared there were mouse droppings in the upper cupboard. The kitchen lights flickered and we reported that and mouse droppings. The droppings were removed but the lights continued to flicker for the duration of our stay even after they were supposedly fixed. My friend had difficulties with opening and closing the patio door as it stuck a lot. The beds were very comfortable and I like that bedding band towels were readily available. Loved the bathrooms; they were very nice.

The host was very communicative. Renters should be aware of two things -- the lanai gets boarded up during high suff (happened twice on our stay) and this unit can be rented for 400 less via the property manager's own website. Based on those two things I would stay on a higher floor to protect my view as there is no major advantage to walking from the lanai and I would book elsewhere.

The place was great for a family of four to spend a week on the big island. This was our 3rd trip to Kona and this place was by far the best place we've stayed. There was plenty of kitchen stuff to make meals including spices, cooking oil, pots, pans, etc. Plenty of beach gear was provided including snorkel masks and boogie boards, and towels. My only gripe is that they provided camp chairs instead of beach chairs. The place was clean and well kept, as was the entire condo community. The complex was quiet at night (except for the sound of waves). Highly recommend!

Super apartment and location to explore the Big Island. Everything you need is provided, including chairs, towels and snorkelling equipment. Local pool and tennis on the facility, and the best sunsets! Great communication from the host. Perfect, thank you!

Stocked with all of the necessary essentials, plus the extras. Having the cooler was perfect to be able to pack lunches for our long days exploring the island. Every morning, having breakfast and coffee on the lanai and sunset dinner views was magical. This was our first trip to the Big Island, but won't be our last. We will definitely stay here again. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Being in the last building, it was very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of extra linens, towels and beach towels. There were lots of items for the beach, chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear. So many amazing experiences and memories made. This was the perfect place for us, highly recommend!

Very useful that it has a washer-dryer, though you'll need a trip to the shopping center (1 mile drive) to get laundry soap.

Impressive, from entering the property to arriving at our unit. We were oceanfront, but far enough back to the sound of the waves or somewhat muted; which was one of our concerns when we rented the property. The unit itself was impressive, well equipped, and comfortable. We had an issue with the TVs, but I’m sure the issue was us being senior citizens. Contacted the management company, they promptly sent over a very delightful and helpful employee to get us back on track. Only a couple of things could’ve been improved upon, one being it was advertised as an end unit and it was in the middle, another one was there was supposed to be some consumables to get started, which I assume meant two or three days, maybe a little longer, probably a tablespoon of coffee, no pepper and a box of teabags only had one teabag and one usable. Other than those issues, we would stay there and recommend it to our friends
