Kalani Kai#109 1st Floor, Remodeled Unit in Heart of Kona Town! Best location

kitchen was equipped but the stove vent/exhaust was filthy. The vents had grease drips that I had to clean. Nasty! The TV didn't work but after a quick response from a tech person, Shelly (?), it was determined something was wrong with the service. No big deal there but that should have been found out before renters came in. One of the laundry baskets in the closet was full of dirty bedding.

Close to the center and the beach. A cozy apartment that had everything you need for life and relaxation. My favorite place in this apartment was on the balcony by the window through which there was a great view of the plants. We were very pleasantly surprised by the gift left for us in Hawaiian style.

Place was located 5 minute walk from the waterfront area. Felt very safe. The pool was nice. Close to grocery stores. Kitchen and grill near the pool. Stuff to borrow for the beach. Rental company very responsive. I would rent here again

Very convenience to shopping and my purpose of trip

Everything was excellent except for the air conditioning situation. We had to have the living room freezing with all the fans running so the bedroom was good to sleep in. With the AC running all the time to keep the front part of the living area cool, it made the it too cold in living room and way too noisy. The TV had to be so loud just to hear. That is the only thing needing work and would keep us from renting again. Ha by big said that, if you don’t mind a warm bedroom at night, it may not be a problem for you. I must say this is a great location and only a 3 min walk to Ali’i. And the pool is very nice as well.

We had a wonderful time and the property and condo was great. Air conditioning was good, however it would be nice for a unit in bedroom. A few things that would really enhance the unit: We stayed for eight days and the sofa and chairs got a little uncomfortable but overall ok. On your next upgrade it would be nice to upgrade the tub into a tiled shower, just for thought.

My only frustration was the unbelievable number of emails we received prior to our stay. If you really like over communication then this is your place, but at some point, I just had to laugh. Having to sift through all the different bits of communication to find the pieces of information that were important became difficult after there were probably over two dozen emails.

Great place, pros - goodie bag waiting for you to get you started. Everything you could need for the beach. Very good instructions how to get there. Binder with local addresses of places of interest and more. Con - several people were getting sick after getting in the pool including us. Its supposed to be saltwater but I didnt even know that by getting in.

We were very comfortable. Especially liked the air conditioning!

Clean and well supplied property. We were close to the pool and grills. We were disappointed that there was no AC in the bedroom, only in the living room, and it was very hot.

Very clean upon arrival, even had goodie bags on the desk along with all the instructions qhich were easy to follow. Has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Variety of shops and the beach, a walking distance from this location. Chairs, umbrella, mats, snorkeling equipment… even sunscreen are provided, everything you need for a day at the beach. My teenaged son slept on the pull out sofa bed, found it suprisingly comfortable. Very pleased with my stay. Highly recommend!

An excellent place to stay

Best property to stay at with everything you need! We were so grateful for all the beach stuff that was available to use! Clean and quiet area! Super close to everything! Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Kona!

Old son on vacation with us and he loved looking out on the screened balcony each morning to look at the chickens, cats, and people walking their dogs. It's walking distance from all the best restaurants and beaches down town. We would absolutely book here again
