It's a Shore Thing - Destin Gulfgate 0503!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental was very nice. Super clean. Workers very friendly. Our only complaint was mainly the elevator. One wasn’t working and the other one seemed to be tied up for several minutes thru out the day. They were replacing hot water tanks and the workers tied them up. I think they could have had their workers move tanks during off hours! Makes more sense since one elevator was out of use. Also we had 2 days where we had to make plans to be gone because of hotwater tanks replacement. We were never told ahead of time that we would be replacing them until we got there ! I think we got a text the day before it was gonna happen!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed 4 nights and were not able to use the outdoor balcony because the railings were too wide. They are not up to code and our toddler (1.5) and our 4 year old could fit through the railings. They know the railings are not up to code and have not fixed it. I would not recommend this condo if you are traveling with small children. You won't be able to relax if you want to sit outside and enjoy the view.

First trip to Destin. All accommodations on the property were enjoyable. Staff was super nice and helpful. Great view from the condo. Condo had everything we needed for our stay, no complaints. Private beach was stellar, chairs were setup and ready for us everyday on arrival. We setup volleyball and had plenty of room to play and enjoy. They hosted a social with complementary beverages during the week we were there which was cool. Will come again!

My stayed was wonderful. the condo is just as the pictures but better. Great customer service. its closed to everything. my kiddos really enjoyed the pool will definitely book again.

The condo was perfect! It was very clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation.

Waking up to the view in such an awesome unit was so relaxing. I have told everyone about it.

Reviewer Comments: Leaving at least a stack of 5 coffee filters or so and disposable salt and pepper shakers/packets would have been a welcome consideration as complimentary staple items for the kitchen. The living room upholstered furniture is showing wear and stained though the color choices were up to date. The deck furniture was not comfortable for 4 adults. The 4 older adults staying preferred regular chairs vs pub height chairs. The view and convenience cannot be beat! The updated fitness center, pool and chair setup is impeccable, staff super helpful, elevators ran well, the cleanliness of the facility, safety, and maintenance so appreciated. We appreciate the friendliness of the residents and renters every time we stay at Gulfgate too.

King bed was very comfortable. The two queens were a little hard for my taste but my daughter slept great. Living room was comfortable. But the highlight for me was the balcony and the view. Beyond wonderful, be it full sun or stormy. I never got tired of it. You don't need to actually go to the beach because you feel you are there(only being 5 floors up). So close to the water's edge and the sound of the Gulf is so soothing. Property is centrally located, short drive to a lot of Destin destinations. Would highly recommend to everyone.

All of the working staff were kind and friendly. Will DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN. (The ice maker stopped working but we really didn't use it much. I did report to the office about that)
