Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The access to the beach was nice. The fact that twoChairs were included was also nice, but you had to wake up early to ensure you got them especially ones that weren’t four rows back. The kitchen was outdated. The master bathroom had a sliding door to close to get in the shower, that was very difficult to move as well as the pantry closet being difficult to open. The beach view was nice and front desk staff was friendly.

Had a lovely stay at this condo and definitely appreciated the location and views. The price was amazing for the condo to be on the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my first time at the Islander Resort. It was wonderful. Location to restaurants, grocery stores, and souvenir stores. The towel service is such a great idea. I was a little concerned not having a washer and dryer in my unit I had never stayed in a condo that didn’t have them. Definitely loved that I didn’t have to spend my vacation washing beach towels and bath towels. Saved me a lot of money of time. I also loved that the supply beach towels. I fly and I don’t have much room for them. The pools were both great! The flat walk to the beach was short. Loved that I didn’t have to do steps if I didn’t want to. The ramp is nice for wagons and coolers. The unit 703 was very nice and well decorated. My view of the gulf was amazing. The unit was clean and well stocked with anything I could need. It was very clean. I loved that all units come with an umbrella and 2 chairs. Definitely will be coming back and staying on the East side again.

The Islander resort was very clean, quiet and had a lot of great accommodations; specifically the linen exchanges, along with 2 beach chairs and an umbrella set up for you daily at the beach. The condo was clean and it's a very short walk to the beach. The kitchen is a little dated but it had everything we needed to cook with for the week. The only complaint we had is that both toilets would continuously run. We had to constantly fix the handle/stopper to make them stop running. They both should be fixed before the unit is rented again. Overall, we would recommend this condo and the Islander resort.

This condo however has a rug that is so dirty, the white parts/patterns are grey. You can tell it’s from filth because the parts under the couch are still white, also the cushions on the dining room chairs are filthy. For that much money for a weeks vacation, the owners should be able to afford a new rug & dining chairs.

Clean and well maintained property. Beach was easily accessible and pool was wonderful! It was very easy to check in and out.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the view we had & felt like the beach attendant - Allen was extremely warm & concerned about our visit. The handyman was very kind & engaging. We also appreciated the young women in laundry room, she was kind, upbeat & helpful. We would encourage you to move her to the front desk. The front desk responded to what they were asked but did not seem warm or glad we were there. We did have several issues with the unit. Both toilets needed the stopper replaced, when flushed they kept running - it seemed to take a few days to get those replaced. We had an issue with large brown bugs. My wife fell when trying to catch/kill bugs and ended up in the ER. It took a few days but the bug person came in & sprayed, we killed both of the large bugs we saw. Our stay was nearly 3 weeks we were near the east garbage drop, it was to be repaired, never worked during our stay, so we had to walk from the far end of the East to the far end of the west to dispose of garbage. This was our first trip back to the Islander since the mid 90’s, we stayed there about 2 weeks a year from mid 80’s to mid 90’s. We were excited about our stay since we had so many memories. It seems like the building had been used hard and needed some general updating to keep it fresh & appealing.
