Stayed Jul 7, 2025Very pleasant experience. Easy access to everything. Love the shopping carts to help unload items. Definitely would return again. Love the private beach the property is located on. Made us feel very secure while staying there.

Reviewer Comments: Checkin went smoothly.We had to plug lamps in the master bedroom, there wasn't the needed cables for tv in that bedroom.Furniture was good and rest of the place was clean.

Should have a GFI plugs in the bathrooms. Loved sitting on the balcony. Will definately be back. Front desk employees very friendly and pleasant.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall condition of the condo unit was good, however, the sofa and love-seat are worn out, very uncomfortable, and need to be replaced.

Stayed Jun 19, 2022This is our third time in Destin and the Islander is definitely the least favorite. If you don’t mind being around shrieking kids, loud music, obnoxiously huge groups of partiers, then maybe you won’t mind. But if you want a nice quiet relaxing beach vacation, stay away from the Islander. We actually left a day early and we’ve never done that in our life! The condo itself was okay. But not great. The bed was not real comfortable and the pillows were weirdly small and the sheets were scratchy. Will not stay here again.

This unit has a beautiful balcony view! We loved how there was all the essentials needed to stay for a week. Our girls used the free items left to have a that beach and enjoyed the body boards.
