Islander #602 –Destin Beachfront Paradise: Your Dream Escape!

Overall the stay was very enjoyable. The place was clean and the view was amazing of the ocean. The only inconvenience was the toaster only toasted on one side, but we just flipped to toast other side. We did make the front desk aware when we checked out so could be corrected before anyone else stayed.

The only bummer was this is on the 6th floor and one elevator was broke our entire stay and the other broke down a couple times. We had to drag our beach cart full down 6 flights of stairs.

Perfect location and view! Highly recommend, especially for families!

This place was the perfect place for our girls trip. It was in a great location close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. It was so nice having the chair and umbrella rental as part of our stay. We had a few minor repairs that needed attention when we got there but the front desk staff had maintenance fix it same day while we were on the beach. Great experience!

What a great place to enter a new decade of my life! Will definitely consider this condo again when visiting Destin!

The condo had everything we needed except for infant items. The management was pleasant to work with. Location was great. Just far away from the hustle and bustle.

This lodging is as advertised. My This lodging was as advertised. My goal was to have an ocean view from my room and this unit definitely had a beautiful unobstructed view. I especiallly liked the beach access. was to enjoy the beach

Everything worked well (except the master bedroom cable TV would not connect to the service). Also, no sheets for the pull out bed. Other than those minor issues, our stay was perfect and I highly recommend Unit 602. The Islander property is very well maintained. They always had someone outside cleaning the sidewalks, trimming, and even power washing the unit windows. The lobby service was excellent too. The landscape was beautiful. Just a great experience.

Great place to stay. Location is great. The only downside was one of the elevators kept breaking down. Loved how they had shopping carts/bell carts to bring your items up to your room

It was beautifully decorated and had a few touches that I thought were so nice, such as a few extra blankets, USB adapter attached to the bed frame so you could charge your phone, and a water filter attached to the kitchen faucet. AC worked perfectly and the unit was very clean when we arrived. I did wish there was a washer and dryer in the unit, but the coin operated laundry on the second floor was convenient ($1.50 to wash, $1.00 to dry). There were laundry baskets in the unit. The balcony was absolutely lovely. The property is tucked away on a quiet side of Destin so it was very nice being away from all the craziness of the main strip. Front desk personel were friendly and accommodating, thank you for everything guys! The beach chair and umbrella service included in our rent was awesome.The only suggestions I might have would be that the couches and table chair cushions could have been cleaned a bit better (food particles and a little grittiness on both), and the living room and kitchen rugs need a good steam clean. It would also have been a nice touch to provide a bottle of all purpose cleaner so I could spot clean things like the table and counter while I was staying, since there is no housekeeping service.

All was nice. Couple of things, tub in 2nd bath needs safety strips, almost fell couple of times, Roku remote didn’t work, and Krurig pot needs attention. Kitchen was well equipped
