High-Rise Bliss with Gulf Panorama: West-Facing 11th-Floor 2-Bedroom Condo in Beachside One! at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort!

Property was clean and spacious, furniture comfortable, no complaints! Kitchen had everything you needed. Beach was amazing with a great view from the balcony. Will be back!!

PROS: Completely renovated, clean, comfortable furniture, easy secured beach access CONS Instead of being practical and using a door code, we were given CARDBOARD room keys. They begin to crumble as the slightest hint of humidity. Just imagine how they held up on the beach. Pro tip - put the key in a sandwich bag and do not open it until you leave. The door reader will read the code through the plastic. OR Sandestin could send a QR code to our phones since we always have them. Sandestin Resort manages this rental - Big concern is that they'll take over these condos resulting in the beach being overcrowded with all the guests from the many other resorts they manage. If that happens it will completely ruin this condo's beach and location.

Beautiful condo and very clean. Love the improvements. Beds were comfortable. Pillows were tiny and uncomfortable. Screen was off to sliding door. Would love to stay again. Check-in was a nightmare and took 2.5 hours. Front desk sent us to Beachside 2 and assured me I was wrong in saying Beachside 1. We unlocked 2 bellman carts, only to have to reload our car & unload again. The clerk blamed it on VRBO.

Enjoyed our stay. Easy check in. Beaches were fantastic. Updated pool area was very nice.

We had the best stay at this beautiful property! The condo is just exquisite with the most comfortable beds and living room furniture. (I meant to look for the tag on the king size mattress in the main suite, as I want one just like it!) And the linens were just perfect! (I am a snob about bed linens...I just love crisp white cotton sheets and these linens were absolutely top shelf!) The kitchen is just beautiful and my daughter was amused that it looked so much like my own newly renovated kitchen. The condo owner and I have the exact same taste! The kitchen is beautiful and stocked well with all of the equipment that we needed for our stay. The counterspace was just wonderful and the peninsula meant that we could cook and chat at the same time. The living room was very comfortable as well and we spent a lot of time watching tv (at night) and playing games together. The dining room table was a perfect size and became command central for the three of us on our computers. There was plenty of space! My kids insisted that I stay in the Master Suite, which was not my original plan - but let me tell you, I felt like a queen! The bed was amazing as I mentioned earlier...and the full wall view of the Gulf was beyond imagination! I watched the sunrise from bed every morning! What an amazing experience! The balcony is perfect and there was plenty of seating for the three of us with some left over. The view is beyond description...and the sound of the Gulf was just musical. This was truly my happy space! The grounds are beautiful and exquisitely maintained. Someone in an earlier review mentioned common building space looked a bit tired. That was not our experience at all! The building was beautiful. The pool was perfect and the hot tub was delightful! There is a great area with 2 huge gas grills and picnic tables for cooking and eating outside. I can't imagine a better arrangement. My adult children and I only get together once a year at Christmas - so this time is particularly precious to me. This condo could not have offered us a better vacation/holiday together. I am so grateful for this experience. Thank you to the Sandestin staff and to the owners of this amazing home for sharing it with us!

The condo was amazing! The beach was clean and beautiful as was the water. The condo was perfect for my husband and I and 3 of our kiddos. The ocean view was spectacular as well. The only thing that surprised us was that there was a washer and dryer- it was a wonderful surprise!! I definitely recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back.

Very clean. Breathtaking views. Just as described. Nice private beach area just for beachside one guests (plenty of room) nothing like sandestin common beach area (wayyy overcrowded 6 or more rows of beach chairs) we were lucky to be on this side. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is the building itself. It has seen better days and it is in desperate need of a makeover. Swimming pool was remodeled/ updated so it is nice. It’s just the other common areas ( elevators, hallways) I also appreciated the shovels, floaties, boards available for anyone to use. I would go back despite the building needing a makeover, we had a nice private beach area and the condo being spotless.

We loved staying in Beachside 1. Super easy beach access and our beach was not very busy at all. The beach on either side of us was packed! We were so thankful to be staying where we were. Our condo was really nice too. Everything was pretty new. And the views were great! Can’t wait to go back!

No communication whatsoever. The place itself is nice! Our access code to the beach didn’t work. I called several times about it. No one offered to come over and help us.
