Harborfront Pied a Terre Directly on Rockport’s Beautiful Old Harbor

Beautiful little getaway! Sits above a cafe in the village. The smell of fresh baked goods woke me. I thought I was a kid and my mom was in the kitchen. Convenient to all the little shops and restaurants. We loved being there and will return. Thank you!

Perfect spot in Rockport - we loved our stay! The host was friendly and responsive, and the location couldn’t be better. It's in walking distance to shops and restaurants, and right above a great coffee shop. The place was perfect for two, with a beautiful harbor view and the sound of waves as the tide came in. We’d definitely stay again!

Beautiful view, quiet apartment in the heart of Bear Skin Neck, which is a charming part of Rockport. Loved the coffee place just downstairs, cute shops all around. But the view, the view is amazing.

Fantastic place in the middle of everything

My group had an amazing time staying at Peggy’s place in Rockport. The location is ideal and felt extremely comfortable and cozy. I would definitely book again, and I’m so happy I found this gem of a spot.

Absolutely furnished with everything for the kitchen and any rainy days, lots of books and games.

An extremely quaint, comfortable, clean place with a wonderful view. Right in the center of such a wonderful little town. Although the parking situation is rough, a neighbor was kind enough to explain about leaving the car at the T station and I used Gloucester Taxi to get around. It worked out great! It was an extremely pleasant stay with a great host!

Extremely comfortable, cute, and nice place, with magical views of harbor and even picaboo view of motif#1. Wrap around windows with amazing breeze. Nice cozy deck. Coffee shop below was a twice a day visit. Hosts were so polite and responsive. We look forward to coming back someday

Great spot in a little beachside village! Property is a nice little spot. Parking is a bit difficult to find depending on the day/time you arrive. Hosts very nice!

This is an absolutely beautiful, charming, and spacious apartment in an outstanding location - right in Bearskin Neck with views of the harbor. Light sleepers will want earplugs for when the cafe comes to life early in the morning, but everything else was terrific!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment on Bearskin Neck. It’s right on the water and was nice to sit on the porch at night—we were able to see the stars despite the lights at neighboring buildings. The apartment itself was well decorated, comfortable, and clean. I should note that you definitely hear the business downstairs while it’s open but this didn’t bother us. We were out seeing the sites during the day anyway. It’s surprising how quiet it gets after the nearby businesses close.

We are so grateful to have stumbled upon Peggy and John’s amazing place. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The views are spectacular! The apt was loaded with every thing you could possibly need. There was a cute, little coffee shop right below us that served us our fave brew bright and early. Walk to a cute town beach. Every thing is walkable and we parked our car 2 minutes away. We can’t wait to return.

Right in the center of things. Very close to the water. Believe the other reviews that it is very noisy due to its location over a coffee house, although that didn't bother us.

Cozy apartment. Nothing left to want or need. Perfect for two. Kitchen set up well for eating in and preparing meals; but with so many wonderful restaurants in walking distance, you have options. Exactly as described if not even better. A perfect spot on Bearskin Neck. Active and fun by day, quiet by night. Amazing viewing of fireworks from the deck. Hosts made the entire process a dream of simplicity!!

We came to Rockport for a long weekend. The place was very comfortable with an amazing view of the harbor and a perfect location. Note that it is over a cafe as mentioned in other reviews (early 6am wake-up) which didn’t bother us much. We enjoyed the close access to the cafe for breakfast and snacks.

Great place with nice views.

The rental is a loft (not an apartment) reached via 3 flights of a rickety, outdoor staircase. Music, conversation, and coffee making sounds from the cafe directly below fill the living space from 7a.m. to 7 p.m. Tourists congregate at the bottom of the stairs day and night, and long lines form to an ice cream store adjacent to the staircase. The street is crowded and noisy. We rented for 2 weeks, stayed for only one (not reimbursed). Perhaps this location would appeal to teenagers.
