Keep in mind that island life comes with seasonal pests like mosquitoes. To help keep them at bay, our properties receive professional pest control treatments every month. Please be aware that because Port Aransas is a unique coastal community, cable and Wi-Fi connectivity might be unpredictable. Thank you for acknowledging that we have no control over these services. Service interruptions will not qualify for any discounts or reimbursements.



GUEST VERIFICATION:

To ensure a smooth and secure stay, we require the primary guest listed on the reservation to complete a simple screening process within 48 hours of booking confirmation. Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until these steps are completed.



Once verified, and prior to check-in, guests will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement that includes:

- Agreeing to our rental terms and conditions.

- Providing a valid government-issued ID and a matching credit card before check-in.

- Paying a non-refundable $60 damage waiver. The damage waiver provides coverage for accidental damage during your stay, as long as it is reported prior to your check-out. This is collected either at the time of payment through the booking platform or afterward, depending on which platform you use to book.



The damage waiver covers accidental damage that may occur during your stay. To ensure coverage, all damage must be reported promptly while you’re still at the property. We understand there is normal wear and tear at houses but should anything accidentally break or get stained during your stay please just let us know. Thank you!

    The house was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. We were super disappointed that the pool and playground were closed the entirety of our stay. We specifically booked this location because of our kids wanting to enjoy that playground by the pool, and they asked multiple times per day if it was open, and it wasn’t. Additionally, and not as big of a deal, but the indoor entertainment that was advertised for the kids (gaming console) was not working. It played DVDs, but not the games. Aside from that, it was everything as advertised. We would recommend to friends and family.

    I enjoyed that the place was single story. No trudging up stairs. A big plus. It was well decorated...especially the orange bedroom withe queen bed. Fridge was very clean. I appreciated that very much. I did notice that the floors had not been vacuumed in the living room or master bedroom upon arrival. (Popcorn remains) Also, master bedroom closet had a man's shorts laying on a shelf. The shower was not clean. Red hair strands strewn along the shower wall. Blue shower gel hardened on shower tile. Shower had not been cleaned. The kids beds did not have clean sheets and they even smelled like body odor. I certainly did not appreciate that. So, guests slept on top with their own blankets. The bathtub faucet in the orange bedroom bathroom was not working good. It scalded our grandson. This faucet needs to be repaired. Just wanted to give you honest feedback. Since you charge nearly two hundred dollars for a cleaning fee, it should be cleaned a lot better.

    We absolutely loved staying at this rental. It was clean, spacious and close to everything in town. We had a total of 9 people, 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. Having 3 bathrooms was definitely a plus. The home was nicely decorated and the kitchen was stocked with most everything you would need to cook your family meals. The private patio and outdoor shower was also a nice touch. Our family had and amazing time while on vacation in Port A and we would definitely stay at Happy Harbor again.

    The property was a great size with plenty of beds. It was well-stocked-from the kitchen and bathrooms to the games and puzzles. The AC worked well. The shower had good pressure. The beds were comfortable. The breezeway was a great place to store stuff that was sandy. We used the outdoor shower to rinse off our feet. It was nicely decorated.

    This rental was so clean and comfortable and in a great location! I was very impressed with all the little touches, like soft sheets, toiletries and towels for everyone, ample sitting space around the table, a well stocked kitchen and even instructions for the kitchen appliances!! The on-site pool was nice and there are restaurants and a gas station within walking distance. Would stay again for sure!
