GULF FRONT w/ Amazing Views Right On The Beach! 3 Pools, Hot Tub, Tiki Bar!

Pros: Location, amenities were nice, condo was a little above average and had everything we needed. View from balcony is the SE. TV was updated to a smart TV & wall color updated (pics don’t show these updates). A few floating rings were left in the cabinet. No issues with the condo nor at the pools, front desk, parking, snack bar, tikki bar, or fitness center. Cons: the condo is a bit outdated; the door and door frames appear to have been replaced at one point in time. but the doors were never painted. There is wall paint all over several areas of the woodwork. white woodwork was quite dirty, but I know how hard it is to keep white woodwork clean, especially after a few months. To be fair, I can imagine that it’s hard to keep up with it with so many people using your condo and some not respecting it. The paid beach chairs take up all ocean front spots; you sit behind two rows of paid beach chairs.Would possibly stay here again. Since there were no major issues.

Michael was fantastic. Check in was easy. Property is gorgeous! Right on the beach and great pools. Close to anything you want. Will definitely rent here again! It was our first time in Destin and we will be back.

We had a absolute great time on our visit, the condo 1616 was very clean, updated.. also there is 4 extra beach chairs and a few body boards they leave for guest to use.. the view from our room was perfect! Thank you so much Michael for being a great host!! We will def be back and recommend!!

Never been to Destin. Got lucky with this listing I found randomly on VRBO. Great location. Beautiful beach. Spent 3 wks and loved every minute. Would definitely return.

The views from each side are mesmerizing! Easy check in (even earlier). Reception was very helpful. Michael (the owner) was pleasant to communicate with and very accommodating. Usually responded within several hours. The condo has been nicely updated since the photos: modern decor, neutral wall paint. Clean and nicely stocked rental and kitchen (minus pantry essentials so get your own salt/sugar/oil etc). Ice maker and all appliances work. The condo is on the 16 floor with 5 elevators available (short wait time). Loved the common facilities: heated pools (3), tiki bar, affordable made to order breakfast/lunch options at the cafe. The beach is the most beautiful beach I’ve been to! Didn’t have to rent the commercial chairs. The condo had two beach chairs. Sitting behind the rental chairs was still fine, can see the water from there. Tip: don’t waste your towels like at a hotel (you won’t get extras), shower pressure was a little low (high floor). No beach towels - bring your own. Overall very happy and will come back in future!

Second time staying at this property and in this unit. Great place, book beach chairs early and know that they only allow 3 chairs to a group… so plan accordingly. HarborWalk village is interesting- $20 parking as a heads up. Would stay again next time we are in Destin. Pelican Beach Resort needs some updating for the whole building, 2 elevators out of order. They weren’t great about enforcing the no smoking policies and the people around us were smoking/vaping weed…. yuck. Not the owners issue but the facility management should enforce.

The view is spectacular- not only can you see the ocean, the city lights are amazing. The condo is clean, spacious and well equipped. My only complaint were the pillows on the beds. They all need replacing as they were flat and hard.

Pelican Beach Resort was perfect for us, always having the option of beach or pool made everyone happy. The condo was perfect for three adults and two children. We were able to make meals in the full kitchen and have game nights when the weather wasn’t cooperating. Waking up every morning with an amazing view from the balcony and walking the beach as we watched the sunrise was just what we needed. Michael left recommendations for restaurants and shopping and having a washer and dryer was perfect. Definitely planning to come back!
