    It is a great size, has many cooking essentials already there, and the staff is SO FRIENDLY! We loved the pool and hot tub. With a golf cart rental, you can access the entire Placencia region. Highly recommend.

    Enjoyed our stay at the Cocoplum Condos Convenient location at half way point of the Placentia peninsula. Nearby restaurant s and bars. Private pier is a nice feature. Helpful staff and property is maintained well. Bikes and kayaks are a good perk.

    The villa is roomy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need, and there are plenty of towels. A very nice touch is the selection of dvds and books. Herbert is a wonderful host and is quick to answer any questions. A big shout out to Oliver, he was such a helpful staff member.

    We stayed at Cocoplum for 2 weeks which included Christmas. The condo was clean and the perfect size for 4 adults. The location is further from Placencia than we've stayed before, but it was nice. The pool and beach were right there, steps from the condo. The rental/maintenance team was very nice, attentive, and fast to address anything we needed. I would stay at Cocoplum again!

    Cocoplum location was so relaxing and tranquil we would like to visit again. This was the perfect location and amenities the three of us had a wonderful time. Herbert explained everything in plenty of detail and while we did not need to contact him during the week we saw him frequently on the grounds checking the area to ensure all was well.     Private and quiet with a great pool and pier. The condo was beautiful in every way with well stocked supplies and condiments. Herbert and Ivy were great about providing information and arranging taxis, and details. It is a bit of a drive, not walk to Placencia, but... nearer the amazing Bistro in Maya Beach.

    I have stayed in several HomeAway properties around the world and this unit was unquestionably the most thoughtfully equipped and comfortably furnished - perfect for our party of 3 family members + 1 friend. High-quality finishes & TONS of towels were icing on the cake. We only stayed for one week, but there was ample storage space for an extended stay. The pool, beach & grounds were lovely - especially the dock (I highly recommend guests walk to the end to fully enjoy the sunrises!). The 3-building condo complex has a few kayaks, paddle-boards and bikes to borrow, and caretaker Joe is a friendly & helpful presence. The other guests were a mixture of snowbird owners or repeat extended-stay visitors - all were friendly & very generous about sharing local tips. The complex is very well-situated: you can take pleasant walks around the CocoPlum property, and drive 20 minutes or so to Placencia village or 10 minutes or so to Maya Beach to eat & drink. There are several grocery stores & produce vendors within a short drive. One of the greatest features of this unit is its owner/manager - Herbert. A laid-back but enterprising European ex-pat, Herbert clearly loves the unBelizable life style, and is eager to help his guests take full advantage of it! He is a wealth of information, and never got impatient - no matter how many hundreds of questions I asked him before & during our stay. Two things to note: we had a lot of trouble accessing wifi with our iPhones, and this is not the place to stay if you want lots of kids/nightlife on-property (which was totally fine for us!).
