Groovy Getaway gives good vibes to chillax on Canyon Lake with the gang! This funky 3 bedroom, 2 bath condominium sleeps 6. Guests will be totally stoked to have access to the community pool, tennis courts, and 72-hour boat parking as well!

Located on the second level of the condo, guests have stellar views of the pool from two balconies at Groovy Getaway! The entry stairs take you up to a quiet outdoor seating area, leading you to the front door. As soon as you walk in, bright colors, wood accents, and groovy chrome finishes catch your eyes in the dining room! Carrying into the living room, classic pin-leg furniture embodies the 70s vibe, inviting guests to chill on the sofa and watch a show on the flatscreen television. Iconic bright patterns and colors are met with artistic décor and a beautiful fireplace to complete this space! Large sliding glass doors bring in ample natural light up to the high ceilings, opening up this space. These glass doors provide access to one of the balcony seating areas in this condo! Moving back through the entryway, into the galley-style kitchen, nifty chevron tile backsplash is a nod to the 70s! This kitchen is complete with beautiful wood cabinets and retro pastel toaster, blender, and coffee maker appliances! This beautiful kitchen is complete with a full-sized stainless refrigerator, dishwasher, and cooktop stove.

Heading into the first bedroom, popular pin-leg furniture and bright colors capture your attention. These colorful accents contrast with the light and earthy tones in this room, making it an inviting space for guests to chillax! This room features a king bed, flatscreen television, attached bathroom, and access to the balcony through sliding glass doors. The bathroom is a clean and crisp full-bathroom complete with a walk-in shower and a vanity with chrome finishes! The second bedroom also has a king bed and access to a second balcony with a private outdoor seating area, perfect for two to enjoy a coffee or an evening glass of wine together! This bedroom captures the 70s with its funky-style furniture and fun, bright colors! Guests are invited to cozy in and watch a movie on the flatscreen television, as well! The second bathroom is located between bedroom 2 and 3. It is a spacious full-bathroom complete with a bathtub/shower combo and a vanity with a large mirror. The third bedroom features two twin beds, perfect for kids on your family vacation! Small, retro accents in this room, including an old-school radio and wall clock, are fun features this space has to offer! This room also has its own flatscreen television for any movie nights the kids may want to have! Each room is complete with comfortable linens for guests to enjoy. There is also access to coin-operated laundry facilities on the complex property for guests’ convenience!

Outside, the condo complex provides wonderful outdoor space for guests to enjoy! There is access to a community pool and tennis courts that overlook Canyon Lake, just a short walk away! This property has direct access to the lake, making it easy to grab your kayak and take off for the day! Guests are also welcome to bring their own boat, as Groovy Getaway provides 72-hour watercraft parking. Charcoal grills are available on the complex property to enjoy a cookout in the beautiful Canyon Lake weather, as well!

Take a day trip to Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, to enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. The downtown square of Wimberley offers shopping in
boutiques and coffee shops for a relaxing stroll around town. You can start your adventure by swimming and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, fly across the sky at Zip Line Adventure, or drop by Blue Hole Regional Park for swimming and nature trails.     The decor was fun. Cleaning could have been better. Found random things in many places that were missed by the cleaners. Paper work at Condo showed check out time at 11:00 and email showed it at 10:00. Since you can't check in till 4:00 I do not recommend these properties for short stays. The back balcony was filthy, don't believe its been cleaned for awhile. The oven timer did not work so our pizza got a little burnt. Trash was an issue as there were no outdoor containers. Notified property and they did not know if there were outdoor containers and therefor were they would be located. Wound up bagging the trash and taking it home to throw away. Toilet Paper must be really expensive as the email warned to bring your own. There was only a 1/3 roll in one of the two bathrooms. I do not like this one bit and will not stay at places that do this in the future. Used the pool and the granddaughter enjoyed it very much.

    I didn't give all 5 stars because the lake access information did not seem accurate. We did not ever figure out how to get to the lake. And the laminated info page at the unit gave a check out time of 11 am, so that confused us. Needs to be corrected. Also, when we stayed last year (under my sister's name), we had everything we needed with 6 people. This year we had hardly any paper towels and toilet paper. And the downstairs unit must have had at least 20 people (we lost count), who all partied on their patio and pool until 2 am each night and kept us awake. Otherwise it was a lovely stay for a 2nd year in a row.

    - condo is clean & very comfortable. Access to lake cost extr per car (not listed) - water heater isn’t providing consistent hot shower - direction to condo wasn’t easy to find, no marking for parking spot which made it really silly to find parking space! After 5pm, I was connected to a voice mail. Be aware and read the extra “ built in fees” - one trash bag for two nights(?) & written to buy your own, if you need extra! Lesson learned, I would have preferred dealing directly with an owner vs an agent!

    The condo itself is adorable! Clean, spacious, great decor. The only issue with the condo itself is that the deck furniture was all down in the yard. There was nowhere to sit out there. And there were *very* specific instructions not to move anything, so we didn't bring any of it back up. The GPS coordinates provided for the address were accurate, though Google Maps repeatedly told us to turn into the wrong entrance. You are supposed to park in the space labeled with your unit number, but these are all but invisible. We arrived in the middle of the night and couldn't see numbers on any of the spaces. In daylight, we were able to find our space with difficulty. Both because the numbers are so faded, but also because some spaces had two numbers visible, one in yellow and one in white. The last particularly frustrating thing were the instructions regarding trash at thr end of your stay. You are asked to take trash out and place it in the outside dumpsters. Except there are none visible when you go outside and look around the building. The closest one belongs to the next neighborhood over and there are clear signs that you are not supposed to use it, which tells me that I am not the first person to have this problem. Instructions on finding the dumpsters need to be included in the email and printed materials regarding checkout. (In case anyone reads this far, though, they are easiest to access by going down the stairs, turning left to go to the pool, going past the pool and down into the lower parking lot, and continuing left all the way to the end of that section. Or you can drive down there.)
