Stayed Jan 15, 2024We enjoyed our stay, and with a few exceptions, the unit is furnished with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The unit is a bit dated and could benefit with some updates. For example, the television is about the size of a computer desk monitor and there’s only a couch in the living room with no comfortable chair. The bathroom towels and the beach towels were somewhat worn. Neither of the ceiling fans worked properly. Note that this is one of the rental units that supplies little more than salt and pepper in the way of kitchen supplies. That said, our friends liked the unit so much that they are renting it next year.

Stayed Jan 6, 2024Had a great time staying at Kona Makai 4202. Parking was ample and check in was a breeze. The condo was well equipped and complex was beautiful. Can be cozy with neighbors on other lanais but to be expected in Hawaii. We had an exceptionally obnoxious neighbor yelling loudly and profanely for a very long time. One call to Kona Coast Vacations management and the situation was quickly resolved and no more problems. A couple suggestions for the condo itself: a new mattress would be welcomed, a bigger and smart tv mounted on the wall so the AC isn’t blocked by furniture. Everything else was perfect.
