BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: Two (2) parking pass maximum not included in reservation cost. To be purchased through a link sent after booking. The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner's Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

    We had originally booked with a local motel as we knew swimming would be chilly in outdoor pools however were greatly disappointed when “a fuse” was out on the indoor pool making the water temp only 72. ( we checked it.) Along with not having the key card access to the indoor pool, we reported both issues to BEACHBALL Property management. They brought us the key card the next day which is when we found out the water temp. The HOA was responsible for fixing the pool and a groundskeeper couldn’t give us an answer when it would be fixed. This is pool country and a fuse should not be that hard to change out, we stayed here for a week and never fixed. We did swim in both indoor and outdoor pools, the temps just made use swim faster. The hot tub was nice to warm up after the swims. Our unit did not have one box of Kleenex which one would be provided in the welcome pack. Neither bathroom had safety grab bars. The bathrooms could use revamping as the toilets were so close to the wall, hardly room for wastebasket (they got moved). Loved the patio furniture as spent a lot of time there enjoying the sounds and breezes. The couch was too low to get up from comfortably. The villa had all the basics needed just some fixes, towel rack and drying cord fell the first time it was used. The on-site security and groundskeepers were very friendly. Area very convenient to the beach and nice having restaurant option on site that we used the first night. Close parking, elevator and luggage carts app

    We originally booked with a local hotel as we wanted to have an indoor pool. When I saw the pics of this pool we changed our reservation to Plantation Palms. We were very disappointed that we didn't have access to the indoor pool on arrival however contact with BEACHBALL and we had the key card the next day. The heater on the indoor pool was out and this is HOA responsibility however BEACHBALL did look into the issue and reported back. We stayed a week and the fuse never was fixed. A box of Kleenex should have been included in the welcome kit but was not. A towel rack and drying cord fell the first time they were used which we reported. Prompt responses were provided to any messages sent, much appreciated.

    The unit was nice but needs painted (especially the bathrooms) and the sofa really needs to be replaced. The luggage rack, cart and elevator was a plus. We went to the ocean every day of our 2 week stay. The view from the balcony was very enjoyable and having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. We overall loved our stay!

    We stayed for two weeks & had an amazing trip!! This is our third visit to thesw condos, but first in this specific one. We will definitely look for this condo next summer as the beds were both comfortable & it has all the amenities. We enjoyed sitting behind the tennis court (I originally worried that it would be annoying), but it gave us endless entertainment & good people-watching! The balcony furniture is very nice & there is a storage bin of extra beach chairs/toys. Next time we will bring our own skillet (my kids love eggs), but the finish of the skillets in the condo are getting rough (as expected).

    Although weather was a little cool (60's) we were able to catch rays from the balcony! It blocks the wind and gets direct sunlight. The unit was clean and had a stackable washer and dryer which was very convenient. Also has beautiful pools and right on the beach!

    We had a great time during our first visit to Gulf Shores. The house was very clean when we arrived. We unloaded our car and headed straight to the ocean. There were several jellyfish stings during the week but that happens when you’re in the ocean for hours at a time! The kitchen had a nice Keurig that I used each morning. The beds were very comfortable.

    Best time of year, in our opinion, is October on the beach. Love the Shrimp Festival and Parrot Head (Jimmy Buffet fans) Festival, followed by Oyster Festival for three very fun weekends in a row!

    Location was excellent! But...it was not cleaned! There were food crumbs on the rug. Food chunks under the tv cabinet. Plastic wrap and crumbs in corner under table. Chip crumbs on and in the footrest that had blankets stored in it. Black ring in toilet. I called the management and had to leave a message and never heard from them. I called the number on paper in condo to find out she hadn't managed the property since last December. We cleaned the condo ourselves and then enjoyed the view and location. Not sure I would rent a Beachball property again.
