Full kitchen, cozy fireplace, Wifi, golf course views! - Creek View Villa

Excellent property! Highly recommend!

The unit was clean and comfortable. The pictures are accurate. The property was wonderful and we had a great weekend. The property management company was terrible to work with- we’ve never had so many issues with a booking.

The condo/townhouse was beautifully decorated, just like the pictures showed. There were wonderful views of the golf course from the two balconies. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because most of the cooking pans had food debris around the screws that connect the handle to the pan. The cleaning crew needs to pay more attention to the dishes. Also, the thermostat and every TV remote said the batteries were low. Since we didn't want to be without heat, I called the management company the morning after we arrived (since we couldn't leave an after-hours message for a non-emergency situation). Over 24 hours later when someone responded to the call, she said her work order said we were having a problem with the door keypad. Nothing was said about the batteries. She couldn't get the message to go away and replaced the batteries anyway. We also discovered during her visit that the instructions for locking the door were incorrect, so the door hadn't been locked when we left the unit. Not a big deal in Big Canoe, but still, the instructions were wrong. Another attention to detail issue by the property management company. Other than those sorts of things it's a wonderful property and would be very comfortable for a family. The upstairs bedrooms were spacious. Everything was very comfortable.

Very impressed with the whole Big Canoe area and our place was amazing, very clean and comfortable. Just like coming home every day. So peaceful and quit area with everything you would need.

Condo very cozy! Clean simple had everything you needed. Beds and blankets made it hard to leave for sure! Highly recommend!Would go back again!

Wonderful two level condo with beautiful views of water, golf course and mountainside. Unit is comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. Big Canoe amenities are plentiful - should we decide to return, we will certainly check availability of this property.

We had a fabulous day and this condo and within the community of big Canoe. The condo is located closely to amenities and within a reasonable drive of the local supermarket. It was beautifully furnished, and we loved the wood-burning fireplace. Also, the check in process was smooth, and the management company addressed a question we had quickly. We highly recommend this condo and we will be back!

This condo at Big Canoe was absolutely beautiful! Everything felt brand new and it was super clean! We loved the location and the views were outstanding! The hills were steeper than we had anticipated but we WERE in the mountains so it was fine. We have zero complaints regarding our stay or the community. The rental company however, was not great. We have used VRBO for several stays now and always dealt with the owner. This place is run by a rental company and we felt like it would be even easier, unfortunately it was not. We originally tried to get specific questions answered regarding the golf and it took several times to try and get a specific answer which we did not get, so we just called Big Canoe golf club ourselves. No problem though. We headed out for the 8+ hour drive to the community on our check in day and I realized I still had never received a gate code or house code or any email at all. Check in was at 3pm and as 3pm approached, we used the message feature on VRBO to get a hold of the host / rental company to find out how to check in. NO RESPONSE... We finally googled the company and called the number on the website... the girl that answered was very nice but initially told us we didn't have a reservation! After we told her it was already paid for and that we hadn't received anything at all (communication wise), she checked again and finally found it. She was apologetic and sent us an email with check in info. From there on THANKFULLY everything was fine. Then after getting back home when it was over, we received an email from the rental company with all of the What to know before you go check in info! I have no idea why they were so messed up, but despite that, we had a great time! I would hesitate before using the rental company again though.
