Stayed Oct 2, 2025The master bedroom is on main floor. Had to give that room to elderly mother due to 4 other bedrooms on upper and lower levels. Mother could not use stairs. Tall heavy Dresser door in one bedroom downstairs fell out when looking for place to store clothes. No hangers were available for our nice clothes. Other than these few things, we had a wonderful stay and a great time with family.

Stayed Nov 27, 2024Wonderful home for our family over Thanksgiving. Excellent location and the wood-burning fire place made the holiday season come to life…wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Over flow parking next to home was helpful as well, hats off to the owner Joy!

Stayed Dec 23, 20236 of us spent the week of Christmas here and it was the perfect place for us. The home was ver nice and had everything we needed. It was spacious which allowed us to plenty of room to spread out. It wasn’t warm enough to use the deck or screened porch but both would be great in the summer. We loved the easy access to hiking trails and other amenities in the community. Amicalola Falls and Dahlonega were good day trips for us, as were the outlet malls in Dawsonville. I would highly recommend this place.

Stayed Nov 20, 2023This was our first time visiting Big Canoe and it definitely did not disappoint. The area was a dream and the house was perfect. It was well equipped, extremely clean and in a great location within the neighborhood. We found a perfect little beach on the pond within a very short walking distance. This property exceeded our expectations in every way. I was evenly presently surprised to at there was a crib and a pack and play for my infant daughter already at the house. We can’t wait to come back during the summer!
