Fredonia on Front ! Best Location Downtown!

This is in a great location, about 2 blocks from the riverwalk and restaurants. The place was clean and everything was great.

We had the best time and the owner was so accommodating and the property is beautiful and in a great spot. We will be back. Just FYI there is a lot of street noise at night, but the owner had earplugs in the welcoming basket, so that helped.

Great walking area to see downtown. And a well stocked clean kitchen.

The place was just as described, clean and decorated nicely. The owners left amenities like soaps, coffee and ear plugs which were needed because you're right on front Street so you can hear the traffic. The location was really great! We walked to most places and the places we drove to didn't take that long to get to. We would definitely stay again!

great location. close to town but beach is easy drive too. loved being able to sit on the porch in the shade on a rocking chair to read or just enjoy the outside. comfortable bed; good water pressure for shower and overall nice surroundings with coffee provided.

Freedonia on Front Street was just like staying at my own home it was so comfortable with all the needs that you may need while you're home away from home. We walked the entire time everything was right there.

Everything was exactly as advertised and more. Lovely lodging, great location, super-easy check in/check out. Exceeded my expectations. Photo is the view from the front porch. Just, wow!

Easy access to downtown.

I would recommend staying here if you are visiting Wilmington and want to be able to walk around town. Location was walking distance to all things downtown. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need, very well stocked. The only thing to think about if renting here is that the bedroom is located in the front of the house, and the traffic can be a little loud at times. Bring a sound machine and eye mask cover the room does not get dark due to lights outside. Otherwise perfect place to be able to enjoy the town.

This rental was perfect! It was beautifully decorated, clean and roomier than we expected. The location was so convenient to the Riverwalk and all of the restaurants and bars downtown. The instructions for parking made it so easy! Everything about this gem made our stay enjoyable!

Very nice accommodation in a beautiful historic house. Plenty of space. High quality amenities. Off street parking was very convenient. Area was safe and a pleasant, short walk to the downtown area, where there are plenty of great shops and restaurants. Riverwalk is also close by. Great communication by the owners made check in and out very easy. Highly recommended spot.

Fredonia on Front is a quick walk to downtown and is in a beautiful historic neighborhood. It’s the perfect size for two. The unit is clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The owners were very welcoming with the basket of goodies provided (including ear plugs), email to check up on our stay, and responded promptly to our request. The only negatives for me were the traffic noise and the bedroom blinds, but I am a light sleeper. My husband was just fine.

There was plenty of room for my husband and I. Full kitchen was very helpful! Parking at rear was convenient. Easy check in/out process and very clean! Would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay in the historical home and neighborhood. The You Tube video helped us to find the parking area and was very helpful! We were pleased with the unit overall! The street traffic was loud at night since the bedroom faces Front Street. For appearance, I would suggest repainting the pots on the porch and updating the flowers (all the winter flowers have died and are still there). Also, in the back of the property the walkway is green and could be pressure washed. This may also help with slick surfaces when it rains. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Fredonia and Front. The condo was beautiful. We stayed in 3B and it was a great size with a large living room/ kitchen area, a huge bedroom and good-sized bathroom. The location was great to walk to everything in the historic district. Check in and communication was great and seamless We didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment since we were in town to explore Wilmington (we didn't need to cook anything) but it seemed well appointed and had everything we needed. I guess the best review is: we plan to stay here again when we come back to Wilmington.

The property was excellent. It was a great location. We had a great time. The only negative I have was a problem where we parked. We didn’t notice until the last day but there were ants on our car. Not a massive amount just several. The parking area should be sprayed.

This was a last minute find and it was absolutely perfect! Very clean and beautiful house. It’s very close to everything. We would definitely stay here again!

Curt and Ada have created a lovely space in a perfect location. I was freaking out after leaving my son at UNCW freshman orientation. Curt responded to me quickly when I was at a loss following his specific parking and entry instructions.

The home was very charming. It was exactly as described. The location was in short walking distance from local shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was safe, we felt at ease walking the area.

The property was beautiful. It was very clean! We will tell our friends that it is an excellent place to stay. We would stay here again!

We wanted to be close to the river and restaurants in Wilmington this was a great location. We took a couple of day trips from this location which was easy to get on the beach hwys from the VRBO.
