Enjoy a perfect Key's Getaway in a one-bedroom condo with relaxing beach decor. The oceanfront location is nestled ideally between Key Largo and Islamorada, offering the best of both worlds. It is just steps away from all the Keys have to offer: the world's best fishing, diving, snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking.

- Sleeps 4, with a Queen-size bed in the bedroom, a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room, and a convertible chair that folds out for a small child in the livingroom. Perfect for families on a budget.
- New Stainless Steel Appliances
- Convenient In-unit WASHER/DRYER;
- Fully equipped KITCHEN with a microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, blender, kitchen utensils, plates, and cookware. Please don't plan on cooking a robust, big meal like Thanksgiving. I provide the basics. Cooking in the full kitchen offers a great money-saving option as does the free washer & dryer inside the condo.
- Small balcony with two chairs to watch the sunrise and abundant birds in the Mangroves.
- Provide all bath linens, BEACH TOWELS, and bathroom essentials like starter toilet paper roll, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Please bring your usage of items because I supply only starters of each.
- Kid games, books, pickle ball rackets, and balls, pool noodles, and a cooler for your enjoyment

Check-in time is at 4 pm, and checkout time is at 10 am. We are unable to accommodate early check-in or late checkout requests. Please adjust your travel plans accordingly.

THE LOCATION:
It is situated at mile marker 92.5 on the oceanside and is centrally positioned between Key Largo and Islamorada. Ocean Point is just ¼ mile from Highway US 1 and encompasses 60 acres of protected mangrove forest.

- Several rental companies are within 5-10 min driving including glass boat tours, kayaks, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, parasailing, snorkeling and other water activities;- The closest gas station and convenience store are ¼ miles away;
- Winn-Dixie supermarket is only 1 mile away;
- Theatre of the Seas is 9 miles away;
- John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park is 11 miles away;
- Miami International Airport is 70 miles away;
- Harry Harris Park is 1 mile away
- Kayak and Paddleboard rentals 3 miles away
- Snorkel and Charter boat rentals 3 miles away

Just remember that you're on Island Time, mon, relax and enjoy! , charter boats for fishing and diving in Tavernier. Not to mention the fantastic drive over 200 bridges down to Key West!

SMOKING: NO SMOKING ALLOWED

PETS: Unfortunately, HOA rules do not allow guests to bring dogs. Service dogs require HOA Proof of Service Dog Documentation before your arrive. Please inform me of any service dogs at the time of your booking. You will not be allowed on property if you fail to inform me about your service dog per HOA rules and state law.

ELEVATOR: The condo is located on the third floor with an elevator. Work will run on the elevator to replace parts, and sporadic closures will occur on September 9th and is expected to conclude approximately October 14th. If you have limited mobility or do not prefer stairs, we suggest finding another place to stay.


MARINA/BOAT ACCESS: Marina dock space and boat parking/storage are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Rentals can be arranged through our Marina Dock Master with proof of Liability Insurance. You can apply for rentals up to two weeks before your arrival. So that you know, JETSKIS are prohibited on the property or the marina. If you arrive with a Jetski or a boat without a boat slip or trailer parking reservation, you will be turned away at the gate and unable to stay in the condo at your own expense. Our on-site MARINA can accommodate boats up to 28ft in length. Slip rental is available for $4 per foot per day, and boat trailer parking is $40 per day (free with slip rental).

A car is required in the Florida Keys. Located within 70 miles from Miami International Airport and an amazing 2-hour drive to Key West for a memorable day.

Please take note of the following: We will supply essential items such as starter kits for shampoo, conditioner, and soap, as well as initial supplies of toilet paper, a garbage bag, and a roll of paper towels. Our aim is to ensure our guests feel right at home during their visit. Therefore, we recommend bringing additional items based on the duration of your stay.

Please adhere to all house rules listed on Airbnb and on the refrigerator. Your security deposit may be affected if you choose not to comply.

Travel insurance is recommended to cover travel delays, bad weather, or unexpected life events. Hurricane season lasts from June 1 to December 1. Please note that there will be no refunds for canceled bookings due to hurricanes or mandatory evacuations.

On the 2nd Wednesday of each month, the HOA will conduct insect spraying. Please ensure they have access or do not schedule appointments on that day.

Check-out time is 10 am and check-in time is at 4 pm. I adhere to all CDC cleaning guidelines, which necessitate the unit to be completely vacant for a specific period. Unfortunately, due to this requirement, I am unable to accommodate late check-out or early check-in requests. I kindly ask that you adjust your travel plans accordingly.

    Melanie, the property manager, was responsive before and during our stay. The amenities at the property were well kept. Our unit was adequately comfortable, although small. The description on VRBO warned of limited paper products and lack of coffee, sugar, etc. so we bought items prior to our stay.

    We had a great stay at Melanie's condo. The place is immaculate, we had everything we needed, and the complex itself is great - huge heated pool and hot tub within walking distance, convenient location, etc. No complaints at all!

    Very clean and cozy! Elevator is available for the upper floors. Quick walk to the beautiful clean heated pool and hot tub. Umbrellas are available at tables at the pool and plenty of sun chairs. Boat launch and dock slips available on the ocean side. Perfect location to be an hour from Miami or two hours from key west!

    The property is great. Pretty and very well kept. Pool is excellent. Just wish there was a Tiki Bar. We didn't use the food truck so can't comment on that. Our unit was fairly well appointed. The owner/agent was easy to communicate with. I found a non-functional dishwasher and a non-functional disposal. The disposal was an easy fix, the diswasher was not. She was very responsive to my concerns but due to location and time, getting DW fixed was not possible. I did not look for compensation as I know things happen. She said she was going to give me a $50 credit anyway, which I have not received yet. Overall, this is my second year at Ocean Point and will be back. It is perfectly located in Key Largo/Tavenier for all things diving. Would alos be grert for those interested in fishing or just relaxing. The property has grat beach front as well as a pier/gavebo to watch the beautiful sunrises.
