Fannie's Retreat Great Alternative to Hotel Immaculately Kept

Great value for the money, a quiet little retreat with the basic amenities needed while you explore the area.

Perfect weekend getaway, close to town yet away from the hustle and bustle. Clean, beds comfortable, and the creek was cute!

This is truly a home away from home. It is so warmly decorated, so cozy, and the owners have thought of everything. On top of that it is immaculately clean and everything is in excellent condition. We had the pleasure of meeting Chris and another staff member, and both were as friendly as could we. We can’t wait to go back.

Cute little cabin. Perfect for a weekend visiting my daughter in Boone.

The cabin is situated in a pretty setting with a small creek running between it and the road. It was very neat, clean and offered nearly every amenity you could ask for. Unfortunately, it was tiny and not worth the rate compared to other actual cabins in the mountains. This building appears to be a converted garage with hardwood flooring covering concrete, making the floors really hard and cold. They do offer other cabins which we would be interested in renting in the future. The owners communicate well and are pleasant.

The cabin was great! So neat & clean! Plenty of space for us! Beautiful area, only 15 min drive to everywhere we wanted to go! And just few miles up the road either way was grocery stores. But the cabin itself was amazing! I wanted to come to the mountains to see all the colorful leaves & take in its breathtaking views! This cabin was perfectly placed for me to do so! It was definitely our home away from home! We had 2 bedrooms and they were very spacious with closets. The bathroom was very clean. The kitchen was big enough where we were able to cook instead of eating out. They provided everything we needed to do so with! We were able to use the washer and dryer to wash our clothes. That was great, not having to haul dirty clothes home. Not to mention there was a hot tub available for us to use. I could go on & on about this place! I didnt speak with the host while I was there, (had no need!) but while doing the booking of the cabin, we communicated & he was very quick to answer any & all of my questions. I know that we stayed in one of the smaller cabins but it was more than enough space for us! The price was fantastic too! I had been looking for places for a good month & couldn't get over how expensive every place was But then i ran across Fannies Retreat & was instantly interested. The price was more than fair. Especially considering it was 2 bedrooms, located near everything. Will be returning again to stay, hopefully for a lil longer next time!

We had everything we could possibly need!

Unit was very clean and well kept up. Every kitchen utensil and gadget that you would need was stocked including cookware. Plenary of towels and washcloths and a big plus was the washer and dryer. You don’t have to take back dirty clothes!

Very clean & comfortable. Brought DVD from home but could not get the DVD player to work. No big deal. Next time I will get a cabin with a hot tub, did not realize they had them. But mine was very comfortable. ‘Fannie’s Retreat #170’. I enjoyed myself.

Nicely furnished property in bucolic setting. Kitchen was well furnished, beds were comfortable!

Cute and cozy little space. Ideal for one person or a couple and maybe one other. Faces main road.

It is an amazing property! We will definitely come back ! Easy to access , very cozy, close to Boone and attractions!

This property was perfect! Very convenient to activies in the area, super super clean, fabulous host who went out of his way to make our stay great!!
