Elkhorn Fairway Nine Sun Valley Townhome Near Dollar Mountain

This condo is fabulous, right in the heart of Elkhorn in Sun Valley. The beds are all Ritz and Four Seasons with pillows and bedding to match. It literally feels like you are sleeping in a cloud. The master Shower is HUGE with lots of spa jets all over the shower. The kitchen has a brand new Sub-Zero and European stove. A real gem!!!! It is on the golf course, and is, by far, the best place I've stayed in Sun Valley.

This townhome is spotless clean, has outstanding beds and fine linens, and is completely remodeled. The location is right in the heart of Sun Valley (Elkhorn). The kitchen is five star with a Sub-Zero refrigerator and European stove and oven. You can't find a townhome of this quality anywhere in the Ketchum area. The condo overlooks Elkhorn golf course and the mountains. Outstanding!!!

I don’t think the owners knew how to prepare for visitors. The owners mentioned they meant to put a book together, but had not gotten around to it. There were no instructions on anything. First there was no internet connection for the tv’s, that took quite a bit to resolve, then the sound went out on the tv. Then we were told the remote needed charging every 2 days. Owners failed to provide us a key until requested when painters told us the front door would be blocked when they painted. Next, batteries went out on the front door lock, requiring a call and us to fix. After we arrived, we were told we couldn’t open the sliding glass doors to let in fresh air because it would interfere with the A/C system. We were told the A/C could be set to between 70 & 75, but they failed to tell us the downstairs remained at 60 24/7. A complex new stove was minus oven shelves except for the top shelf. The owner, told us to look up the manual online. There is a steam shower with 7 outputs, but no info for use. The listing showed a garage, but there was no info on how to access it. The rental was for a 3 BR/ 2 1/2 bath but little provisions were made for us to use other bedrooms or storage. Two tiny drawers in main bath were empty & no drawers were cleaned out in 2nd bathroom. The shower doors took herculean strength to open/close. For essentially one bedroom and little more than one bathroom, I sincerely believe that we were grossly overcharged for what was and wasn’t provided.

All of us enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. The living room was perfect for conversation . . . comfortable seating, nice ambient lighting. Dining room is roomy with a beautiful table and elegant chairs, made for nice group dinners. We loved the beautiful fairway views from the living room balcony. The kitchen is large, easy for the four of us to work together to prep meals. There is a cozy nook off the kitchen that worked perfect for one guest who had zoom medical classes one evening - - - quiet and secluded. Beds made for great sleep. The Elkhorn neighborhood might at first seem like it is a bit distant from downtown, but the drive was actually short and scenic, surrounded by the valley bike paths. Highly recommend Eric's home for a vacation.
