The best feature of the condo is the stunning view! Being so close to the beach allowed us to step onto the patio and settle in with a cool drink and a good book and enjoy the ambience of being at the beach while staying sand-free!The unit is small, but fine for 2 people. It was clean and well-equipped. We appreciated the responsiveness of the host. It was a pleasure to deal with Rhyse who promptly got back to us with answers to our questions. The condo is in a great location - close to restaurants and shops, but the best place to be was on the patio at Baby Turtle!!

Loved this unit. View and beach access was perfect. Unit is small but the view makes up for it. Excellent location! Would stay again! The water pressure was less than stellar, which means the glorious looking shower head didn’t work well at all but again that view and access to the beach made up for anything the unit lacked. There was some kind of water drip we heard but couldn’t figure out where it was and did not note it to the property manager during the stay because we just wanted to enjoy without being bothered with a repairman.

We loved the idea of being able to walk each morning on the beach which was only steps away. My favorite pastime in the early mornings on the coast is to sit and watch the sunrise. This unit offers a bird’s eye view from either the patio or just inside the house from a recliner. The unit is well maintained, with a beach theme. It is the perfect size for one or two people. The king bed is soft and comfortable. We had a great communication with the owner. Our stay was perfect. So perfect, we are booked for next year.

Host was accommodating and being that close to the ocean was awesome. Would definitely rent again.

The condo was perfect! We needed a getaway to sooth our souls and this was just the place! There were beach chairs and towels, a patio overlooking the beach just steps away and furnishing that were perfect! Recliners that can swivel to look out at the ocean and a couch with recliners on both ends. Communication with Rhyse was quick and easy. We relaxed, recuperated and enjoyed the sounds of paradise!

Great place for a vacation, walked right out on the beach. Host was very friendly and answered right away. Place was amazing and had everything we needed.

This condo balcony is right on the beach...you can even watch others play on the beach from the comfort of your own balcony. I am not a fan of beach sand however I love to watch the waves so usually i drag a chair out in the sand however it is not necessary when staying at baby turtle. I was totally in love with the condo. The pool has multi rules and was not heated however the complex was clean/orderly and no party zone. This is the condo for you if you need to relax and love the waves.

The condo's location right on the beach with a well appointed patio makes for a wonderful vacation. I enjoyed my stay.

The view from inside the condo was amazing like being on the beach. Very nice patio to sit and relax. Great pool. My husband is handicapped and he was able to stay in his recliner and see the ocean and beach. I will be back.

Beautiful condo! The patio is perfect for watching the sun go down while enjoying the ocean. We saw a sea turtle our first night as she came up in front of condo and lay her eggs. The beach is not packed with people which was really nice. The owners are very nice and have everything you might need. We will definitely be booking again.

The condo was very nice, just as advertised. The convenience of the location to the beach and close proximity to many restaurants and retail stores was a huge plus for us.

I had an amazing stay at Baby Turtle! The condo is absolutely perfect – beautifully appointed and conveniently located. But the highlight, without a doubt, was the breathtaking beachfront view. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the sunrise each morning was a dream.The host was incredibly responsive and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. I felt truly welcomed and well taken care of. If you're looking for a relaxing, charming escape right on the beach, this is it. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

3rd time staying. Comfortable bed. Fully stocked with everything you need. Can’t decide which is favorite: comfy recliners with a beach view or patio right on the beach!

The condo is great. It's furnished nicely with everything you need. The bed is very comfortable. My personal favorite spot is the patio. You are right on the beach. Have coffee in the morning and enjoy the ocean. Watch the pelicans fishing and the dolphin swimming by. It's beautiful and relaxing, highly recommend.

The view from the patio was amazing. The condo was very nice and had everything we needed. The new beach chairs were certainly a blessing. The condo was a little smaller than we expected but certainly meets the needs for two. We would certainly come back.

The best view didnt even half to leave the back deck to experience the view and environment. Perfect for 2 people .

this would be a 5 star review but the pictures do not match the unit. There is something in every available space, which is small to begin with, making it very difficult to set up our own things. Owner needs to update photos to reflect this, or remove excess stuff. It would be nice if owner would spend a few dollars on various items ie:rusty beach chairs, proper pans, mismatched dinnerware etc. Overall a good place on the beach!

From the first step onto the patio we knew we were in for a great week at Ormond Beach.The condo was the perfect size for 2 people.Communication with our host was great, the unit was very clean and the entire property was well maintained.We look forward to a return visit to Baby turtle!

This is the perfect condo directly on beach and pool level. The condo is decorated beautifully, the bed extra comfy, the kitchen, dining and living room combo were just the right size. We stayed during bike week 2025 and the location is far enough away from constant bike noise but close enough to enjoy the festivities. We trailered our Harley and were able to park our trailer at the Catholic Church across and down the street less than 1/4 mile. Without hesitation, I give this rental five stars and look forwarding to booking again.

I promise you won't find a better location than this. The beach is right outside your back door. The condo has everything you could possibly need for a perfect vacation. The host was great and super responsive. I If we ever return to the area this will be our go to!

Very comfortable small condo. Just the right size for us.

The host was friendly and courteous. The accommodations were clean and there are plenty of amenities. Excellent location to beach access.

When we arrived, the unit smelled musty, with hurricane shutters closed and the AC and dehumidifier off. The unit felt unprepared, as if unoccupied for weeks. After opening the shutters and airing it out, we tried to turn on the AC, but the thermostat was locked, and the unit was 76F. We contacted Rhyse, who attributed the issue to a power surge and promised a fix. Upon returning from dinner, the thermostat was replaced.Shutters opened, the accommodations clearly didn’t match the pictures. The furniture was old/worn, throw pillows were dirty, and the space was much smaller than depicted. The front door oddly opened into the BR barely missing the bed.The bathroom, depicted as having a modern walk-in shower, instead had a dirty shower curtain. Only one set of worn towels were provided, with two thin beach towels as backups. The TV didn’t work, so the PM worked on it the next morning, but it continued cutting out.Rain was forecasted but the unit was too unpleasant for indoor time. When the sun briefly appeared, we visited the pool but couldn’t access the beach due to a steep ledge and overgrown foliage. Frustrated, we rescheduled our flight/informed Rhyse.At checkout, stripping the bed per instructions, we found dried blood on a pillow. Unhappy with our experience, we contacted Rhyse to request a partial refund; she refused, later billing us for a new thermostat and extra cleaning which clearly predated our stay.

Everything you need in a holiday home. Right on the beach, but close to Daytona. Exceptional host and very accommodating.

We stayed a week, very quiet, relaxing, family oriented perfect oceanfront for a couple. Great restaurants!

We love staying at the Baby Turtle!! It is so nice and I highly recommend staying here! My husband and I have stayed multiple times and it is the perfect get away - not crowded, close to the beach, beautiful beach view from the patio/sliding glass doors, and amazing local restaurants.

Maybe the most relaxing vacation ever! We took equipment to spend the day sitting on the beach but there was no need because the back porch looked out on the beach and was just steps away - we just walked out to the surf when we wanted and then hosed off and went back to the porch. Most of our time was spent walking on the beach, swimming in the surf, relaxing on the porch enjoying the view, or making the easy drives to Kennedy Space Center or light houses near Daytona or Saint Augustine. The lodging was perfect for two of us, although I think the couch converted to a bed if you have a slightly larger group. The furniture was comfy and there were plenty of condiments in the cabinets. We hope to visit again!
