Destiny Beach Villas 15A – Lake & Gulf Views, Steps to Beach, Sleeps 6

We had a wonderful stay. The property was exactly what we were looking for…quiet, clean, and in more of a small neighborhood area with no high rises. The photos on the rental site are true to the property. It looked just as pictured. It is right across the street from the beach and a few steps away from the pool, which is really lovely. The lake views are wonderful. It’s neat to watch the fish and turtles in the mornings while having coffee on the balcony. You can glimpse the ocean and pool from the second balcony. There is tunnel access to the beach directly across the parking lot from this condo though the road is also very safe to cross. The Crab Trap restaurant is just a short stroll away. The condo had everything we needed. It’s a perfect size for a couple. The bed was comfortable and I loved the large shower. The views of the lake from the living area are just beautiful. The management company communications from booking through the end of our stay were outstanding and though we had no need to contact them, they were easily accessible. The check-in process couldn’t be any simpler or more convenient with the digital access code.The rental portal was very helpful in accessing all the information we could possibly need for our stay. We used a lot of the recommendations for services such as the beach chair/umbrella rental and some of the restaurants. Would definitely recommend and will stay again. Thanks so much!

Great Property - was good for our stay - the only con would be the stairs into the property - really steep.

We didn’t realize there would be someone below us-it May have been our error but we thought it was an entire unit we were renting-not two different units, downstairs and upstairs. Great location to beach! Unit wasn’t 100% clean upon arrival. The pics online made it look quite a bit bigger.

We stayed as a family of 6! While the space is small it was perfect. It’s vaca we don’t spend a ton of time in the unit! The large kitchen was wonderful. Enjoyed the washer and dryer in our room. We never heard our bottom neighbors. The air mattress was perfect for our little kiddos & the teens enjoyed the bunk beds. Location was fabulous we loved the crab trap & pool! We had a wonderful visit! Thank you!

We stayed in 15A, the upper level of the villa. It was really pretty, decorated in white and blue. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and updated and everything worked well. We didn’t use the second bedroom, and it was very tiny. It would have worked if you had small kids, but I wouldn’t have wanted to put another adult in there as it was accessed through the primary bedroom.The pool was lovely and heated to a comfortable temperature, and the gorgeous beach was a short walk away.We enjoyed watching the turtles, fish, ospreys, ducks and egret on the lake at the back.Great stay! I am from this area so like to check out different properties while I'm down to visit family! It's a nice property- however if anyone and I mean anyone is staying downstairs- you're gonna hear everything. We stayed 3 nights and they left us with one roll of toilet paper- so that's not cool

We stayed for our honeymoon after our original booking was infested with mold. We had an amazing time and enjoyed the seamless check-in/check-put experience. Would definitely recommend!

If you were looking for a two bedroom, look elsewhere. This is a one bedroom with bunkbeds in the master bedroom closet. You must enter the master in order to access the supposed second bedroom. My youngest child tried to sleep in there and came out in the middle of the night and said she couldn’t breathe. She is not one for the theatrics so I truly believe her. VRBO will do nothing about it. I just want to save anyone else. We were offered a decent air mattress, but that still does not provide privacy at all. I never would’ve booked this place had I known that it was really a one bedroom. I think it’s shameful that the host listed this place as such. I have a four bedroom house. I am not going to add bunkbeds to my master closet and call it a five bedroom house.

My husband and I brought our 2-year-old daughter with us from Texas for our first family vacation, and we had an amazing time! The rental was incredibly clean, the grounds were quiet, and the lake view was GORGEOUS. We really enjoyed waking up each morning to watch the turtles and fish swim from the deck and having such a short walk to the beach! We would gladly rent here again in the future. Thank you for making our first family vacation so wonderful!
