Man at the gate was rude when you enter. The condo was a bit small.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property, condo and the owner! Perfect for a couple to get away and relax. Balcony view with coffee was amazing! Watching the kids at night search for crabs simply wonderful! We also looked cooking on the grills at the pavilion! Super close to the beach easy elevator ride back to room. The owner responded quickly and had amazing contact skills. We will most definitely book again as our stay was super lovely and felt like home away from home!

Leonard is amazing! Great communication and was able to provide me an extra night last minute when my travel plans changed. I’ve stayed in several Jetty East condos and this one was right on par with the rest. Clean. Great view of the gulf on a wind protected balcony that’s gets lots of morning sun.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Surf Shack! Leonard was a gracious host and the property was just as good as the photos show. The view of the Gulf of America from the balcony was amazing to wake up to each day. This was just the escape we needed from the Midwest winter. Thank you again for everything Leonard!The Petersen's

This was promised the best vacation my children and i have had! The condo, Surf Shack, was amazing! The view was beautiful! The condo itself, was clean and very cozy. Leonard, the owner checked on us almost daily and recommended some great places to eat. He was extremely kind and friendly. I will be staying here again...very soon!

The view of ocean and full moon from the balcony was awesome. The water was a beautiful turquoise at the beach. The beach was well maintained with little seaweed accumulation. Pool was very nice. The condo was clean and no bugs. The size was adequate for two persons. There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers upon arrival. The elevator broke on the first day but was repaired in short order. Not really a problem for us but the bedroom fan and light did not have a switch to turn them on and off. They were controlled by the chain pulls on the fan. Also, we were unable to stream to the bedroom TV. It was not connected to the internet. All in all, a nice place and good location. Leonard was very helpful as well. Thanks!

The stay was pleasant. A great view from the balcony. Proximity to the beach was accurate as described. Proximity to all other restaurants and entertainment was close. Leanard was kind enough to check in via messages now and then. I'd recommend the property to all! A great host and a great property on VRBO at Destin. Over all the stay was memorable and would go back anytime.

Absolutely beautiful condo with the most amazing views!! The condo was clean, cozy, and had everything we could possibly need! Our hosts were so helpful, and responded promptly to anything we may have needed or asked about, including recommending a great restaurant for us to try. Out of the dozen times or more that we’ve been to Destin, this was hands down the best place we’ve ever stayed. Will definitely be back soon!

We had a great time!

The Surf Shack was so comfy and tastefully decorated and the beach view from the balcony was so close to the beach! It was so fun to get up, sit on the balcony and watch the boats coming out & returning to the pass each day. We saw dolphins & fish each morning too. We especially liked the close proximity to the elevator and easy walk to the boardwalk to the beach. Lots of thoughtful touches were there in convenient locations (like cute trays and baskets to put your small things in). We found there to be PLENTY of unpacking storage for 3 people (4 day trip). The host was so helpful and responded quickly. I would give this host MORE than a 5 star review for our experience if I could! We loved the palm tree wallpaper and LOVED taking pictures in front of it on the couch. We made wonderful memories at the Surf Shack and hope to get back there soon!

The condo was just as advertised. Very clean, great ocean view, beautiful beach. Jetty East is not fancy but is clean, well maintained, secure and quiet. Jetty East staff was pleasant and helpful. Leonard (owner) was very responsive and helpful during our stay

Our stay was very nice. Lovely condo. Beautiful view of the beach. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions. Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable. Couch was comfortable.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. This unit was very clean and well furnished. It is a great location on the property being a short walk to the beach from the elevator. The view from the balcony is also nice. I would definitely stay here again.
