This highly upgraded 2 bedroom vacation condo is located adjacent to the the golf course fairway. There is a spectacular view of the mountains and great light coming in. Bike, hike, or just relax on over 250 acres in this fully gated desert oasis just minutes from the fabled village of Palm Springs. The property is steps away from a paved nature trail which is perfect for a family morning or sunset walk.
Free wifi Internet service. Other features to enhance your stay include DVD/CD players, TV s in Living room and master, fully stocked kitchen, skylights and double sinks in the master bath. Mister on back patio, bocce ball and pickle ball equipment.
Guests at Desert Princess Country Club have access to the club s 27 hole championship golf courses (for additional fees) a fully stocked pro shop, driving range, 2 putting greens, and clubhouse with dining room and bar. A beverage cart also circulates throughout the courses.
The tennis clubhouse overlooks 10 tournament style tennis courts, including 8 lighted. Pickleball, Racquetball and a workout room are also on property and available for an additional fee. There are 35 sparkling pools and Jacuzzi s spaced throughout the resort, including several overlooking the golf course. The Doubletree Hotel, with additional restaurants and bars available for your use, is also located on the grounds of the Country Club. And 2 other golf courses, just 5 minutes away, are open to guests staying at Desert Princess.
Desert Princess Country Club is located right in the heart of the Palm Springs area-- just 10 minutes to the Convention Center, the Airport, and the village of Palm Springs. Other nearby attractions include Las Vegas style Casinos, the Aerial Tramway, McCallum Theater, Waterpark, Joshua Tree National Park, and the Indian Canyons.
Please note the city and HOA have had problems with some short term vacation rentals and have implemented hire costs for homeowners that rent their property in the form of increased business license costs and strict fines when guests do not follow the set rules. They require that guests provide a copy of their government ID, their address and names of guests in their party. They also need to provide their license tag and sign verification that they have been provided the community rules and are aware. I have to obtain this information prior to check in and keep it on file or they will fine me. I can provide documentation from the city showing this is a requirement if you would like.
Here are some of the rules. 1. Max occupancy of 4 guests.
2. Indoor music must not be heard beyond property line and no outdoor music can be played. The use of outdoor amenities and noise is prohibited between the hours of 10PM and 8AM.
3. Max number of cars = 2.
4. Short term rental occupants must respect the neighbors privacy and peaceful enjoyment of their property.
5. The transient occupancy tax the city collects is 12%. The Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau collects an additional 1%.
Excellent facility in a excellent location. Our condo was just off the 5th hole golf course. 2 min walk to 2 different pools. Condo was very clean and a great fire table that we sat around every night.
My husband, dog, and I absolutely LOVED this place. It is a perfect location, set back from the 5th fairway of the Lagos course. The home itself was very clean, tidy, and bright. The owner, Eric, is wonderful. He called us a few days before to check in and give us the information we needed, plus he was great about checking in on us while we were here. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a week of R & R, with some fun activities like golf, pickleball/tennis, swimming, and leisurely walks on the beautiful grounds.
We felt so uncomfortable there. We left two days early and after taking the sheets off my bed I figured out where the smell was coming from. Urine stains on mattress cover. No pillow covers, old linens The couches were so uncomfortable we never wanted to sit on them. Our worst stay in a VRBO
Condo was very spacious and a great location. It had everything that we needed and more. I would stay there again.

The condo exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for the golf courses we scheduled to play - short drive to each. Amenities in and around the condo (pool, hot tub, club house/ parking etc.) were very pleasing and within a short walk. Park-like setting was private and encouraged us to sit outside and enjoy the lush greenery. The condo itself was really well laid out and had all the necessary amenities to make our stay very pleasant indeed. Thank you Eric, we hope to be back same time next year.
