The property is smaller than the pictures appear. Our party of five was comfortable but any more would not have been. The place purportedly holds nine. The kitchen is small allowing only one person to work in there. The grounds were nice and we saw deer daily. It backs up onto the Comal. There is a drop in point a short walk away that allowed a float of about 30 minutes back down to the property. The pool was nice. The property is across the street from an entrance to Schlitterbahn and just a short drive from restaurants.

We enjoyed the soothing river and sounds of nature just outside. Very clean and well kept. Great retreat.

We thought it wasn’t working right as it was 82 in the house when we checked in at 4 pm. However it did start cooling down! But when we would leave and come back it was hot in the house again. The only explanation I could come up with is they are controlling the T/Stat which is a Nest Stat. That’s not cool if that’s what was happening! I like to control the t/Stat myself. Not saving money as it take a long time to cool it back down to a nice temp. Other than that, it’s awesome.

This condo is in an excellent location with the back patio facing the Comal. It’s a first floor unit so there are no stairs inside the front door like some have. The front door is literally right in front of the assigned parking space. It’s very close to the river exit. The layout was perfect for our group. It was clean and had everything we needed. Some of the instructions need to be reviewed and updated as there are inconsistencies. For example, there’s a note on the fridge, a note above the thermostat, and a note you get at check-in that give three different instructions about the thermostat. Also, the directions displayed for the master bedroom TV remote didn’t work. Minor items that didn’t affect our stay.Regarding check-in, I went to the office during regular hours as instructed. The person who answered the door looked surprised and a little annoyed that I rang the bell. She said my info had been placed in a lockbox outside and that she had texted me the code. When I looked at my phone to check my texts and showed her I had not received it, she took my phone and started scrolling through my texts to confirm I was telling the truth. While I consider this to be unprofessional conduct, it is not a reflection of this particular unit. I highly recommend this condo.

This place is the best location, it was clean and well decorated. Check in/out process is at another location which is slightly inconvenient.
