Stayed Dec 26, 2025Upon arrival, we noticed that the clean towels contained hair. Next, the water in 3 locations was brown and discolored. Finally, we located two dead roaches. All of this was disclosed immediately to management, with no response until the next day. I was told the water was to be expected due to nearby construction (not disclosed in listing and unclear if the water was even safe), roaches were not a problem because they were already dead and to be expected (not disclosed in listing). After going to the management office during their posted hours only to find it too was closed due to construction (not disclosed) I told management I had no choice but to leave and find clean water and a roach free residence. After leaving early, owner refused any refund. Avoid. Carpet is stained, roaches, discolored water, dirty towels, water damage in the ceiling. Worst VRBO experience I've ever had.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Camp Warnecke condos before but this particular one was amazing and a great location for a girls getaway. Love the new ladder access from the river, so much easier to get out for us older crowd.

From floating the river, walking across the street to Schliterbahn, enjoying the birds and deer with morning coffee on the patio, there was something for everyone to do.

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a family vacation and loved this condo! The condo was in a great location to a ton of activities. The location in the complex was great too with it being close to the pool! The only negatives would be the outdated furniture, a bit disappointed in the living room furniture and lack of comfortable seating.

It was very clean and the bathrooms and kitchen were very updated and looked brand-new. The balcony overlooked the Comal and was such a great view. The location was perfect. Our family had a great time and it was one of the best rentals we have stayed in in New Braunfels.
